Was this guy some type of hero?
No
From the coverage, you’d think he was a head of state.
He was to a lot of people. I turned it off after a while, but I thought what I saw to that point was befitting and respectful.

He was a powerful figure for sure but if he was white we wouldn’t be hearing about him as much as we are if at all. We are living in times where white is bad bad bad and brown is good good good.
Awwww, I missed it! Got all tied up listening to WWV.
The wall to wall coverage is a bit over the top...
He was a hero to some...
He was an icon...
Sports hero. Like Babe Ruth or Ty Cobb or Wilt Chamberlain or Magic Johnson. Not everything they did was admirable but sports fans are sports fans. Also, if he came back to Louisville to live, he’s their local hero.
Heros went and many did not return.
False gods go to....
Libs love him because he took a ridiculous number of blows to the head, bringing him in line with their natural state of dementia.
Also, he converted; they’re all secret Muslim-Wanna-Bees.
That’s all you need to know.
Yeah, 0bama even ordered flags to be flown at half-staff for him. And he was a conscientious objector. What a slap in the face to all who have honorably served their country.
Never had any interest in watching him. Only saw him on news and sports clips.
I am hearing it’s an absolute circus. I won’t watch.
I will tell you how I feel. Muhammad Ali lived his life HIS way. He was a great boxer, and he did many things that were “controversial”. Yet, he accepted the consequences of his actions. He lived his life on his own terms. He was charasmatic. I think he was two parts showman and one part sadist. I think that there were times when people took him serious when he was putting him on, and times when they underestimated him when he was dead serious. I also believe a man has a right to be called what he wants to be called.
I’m watching Maury instead. Far more entertaining. I have no interest in watching Mohamed being treated like a hero.
When he was still Cassius, he did not see himself as an American, and saw no reason to defend this nation’s interests.
“”Libs love him because he took a ridiculous number of blows to the head, bringing him in line with their natural state of dementia””
Priceless....
