Todd and Sarah Palin statement regarding marriage of daughter
Facebook ^ | June 9, 2016 | Sarah and Todd Palin

All our families' hearts are filled with love for Dakota, Bristol, Tripp, and Sailor Grace. It's been a rewarding and interesting ride this past year - but these two sure do love an adventure! As their biggest supporters, we're stratospherically happy it's happened, amidst running a little late! Like they said, the foundation of their new life together is built with hard work and God's grace, so they can't go wrong - their future is as bright as Alaska's midnight sun.

Palin’s kids are a mess. It is quite believable she has another one coming.

So, is Bristol’s new husband the father of one of her children?

Congrats to the Palin family. I’m very happy for them and wish them the best.

I will say, I don’t like modern kids’ names; last names become first names and such.

I completely share your disdain for the modern trend in naming kids! My niece named her daughter Majesty! Majesty!!! I can’t think of a more stupid or ghetto-fied name for a beautiful little girl. I refuse to call her that and have called her Maggie from day one and always will.

And, I am laughing as I type this...any ghetto family with kids with such ghetto names - if they found out about the Palin kids’ names - should be poking fun at them for their names being JUST AS ridiculous.

Since you are calling her Maggie now, she might later prefer that you refer to her as Her Madgesty. LOL.

I will say, I don’t like modern kids’ names; last names become first names and such. These sound like SoCal names.

I noticed this too everyone is either a Cooper or a Madison, my name is Gemma but its a very old fashioned name.

Scientific maps.....oh wait.....

Well, congratulations to the happy couple.

But does this mean that the former Miss Palin is now Bristol Meyers?

Regards,

The point being parents in past years have given their children uncommon, never before heard names as well. A few might have been heard before but ‘common’, hardly. Ora, Maude, Gertrude, Vera, Willie for a daughter. The ‘new agers’ being more up to date go with Moon, Star, and Sunny.

I’m glad they’ve all had this happy event. It’s been a tough year for the Palins. Maybe a positive trend is underway!

To Sarah's List

Their future is as bright as Alaska's midnight sun. ~ How Perfectly Said.

Also, it is good to see Todd out and about.

He was at the San Diego Speech with Sarah a couple of weeks ago, he is a trooper, I can't believe he is up and at it already after the accident!

last names become first names and such.

Here in the south it has been going on for a LONG time. It took me a while to get used to it. One key difference, they use real family surnames for first names in many cases.

I missed that. Funny.

I agree their future is as bright as the Alaskan Midnight sun. In January.

Didn’t Bruce and Demi name one of their daughters “Runner”?
I never understood that, not that they give a damn what I understand.

Rumer, after the British novelist Rumer Godden. (It was a family surname repurposed for Ms. Godden.)

Best wishes to the newly married couple.

May their lives be long, may their worries be few, and may they overcome the snarkiness of Internet naysayers.

New moms can be overwhelmed with love and adoration of their newborn, so they give the infants names of fantasy. Usually, it’s a single mother who does this. An old example is when Grace Slick of Jefferson Airplane had her daughter and wanted to name her God. The nurses were shocked and told reporters about it. Soon, Grace compromised, and settled on the name China. Grace says she was just kidding in the first place.

Blessings to Bristol and Dakota. They look so happy, in all of their pics.

Blessings to their children, parents and family, as well.
