Fox has apologized for promoting X-Men: Apocalypse with images of Jennifer Lawrence's character Mystique being strangled by Oscar Isaac's Apocalypse with the tagline: "Only the strong will survive."
"In our enthusiasm to show the villainy of the character Apocalypse we didn't immediately recognize the upsetting connotation of this image in print form," Fox said in a statement to the Hollywood Reporter Friday.

BRILLIANT!
The add was designed as a subliminal Hillary ad. She's running on the men-are-violent-women-abusers feminist platform. This ad was designed to be a shocking reminder of that oppression - for liberal women tending towards Bernie.
What, you think Hollywood is about movies?
when you change history with time travel....
The fray guy is a robot cooked up by a supported of Bernie.
I haven't seen all of the "X" franchise, but yeah, the blue gal is one of Magneto's gang. I seem to remember some episode where she lost her superpower (turned human color) and Magneto turned his back on her, but I don't know if that was permanent.
It looks to me that the actress in the poster is not the same one who played Little Girl Blue in earlier episodes, but I might be wrong. It's just a poster, shrunken on my screen.
Wait:
Are they apologizing for not showing it promptly?
Are they apologizing for showing a four month old corpse? (Yeah, that would be pretty gross, and perhaps they should apologize for that.).
Because that headline by the Mashable people 'mashes' logical sentence structure. I await THEIR apology for strangling the English Language
To convey what they intended they should have said something like: "Four months later, Fox apologizes for showing an image of the character being played by Jeniffer Lawrence being strangled."
Blue Lives Matter!!!
"Are you feeling the Bern yet?"
Upcoming ? I've already seen it 3 times.
Heck, before you know it, therell probably be a movie about Batman vs Superman.
Sarcasm, huh ?

I am not sure. I do remember taking a cross country flight, and there was a kid next to the window, 6 or 7 at the most, and he was pounding on his Nintendo during the whole flight. I think he was killing something. It kept him busy, anyway.
Meanwhile, the buffed up 20 something next to me was terrified the whole flight. But that's another story.
She asked for it by egging him on.

I hope she feels the same way about bj klinton and Hitlary. After all the last time a klinton was in the white house I had to explain about blow jobs to my 5 year old because it was overheard on the news.
That was not ok.
Saw this yesterday. Terrible.
Two hours of meaningless special effects, lame dialogue and a wandering plot. I loved the X-Men comics but these idiots don’t get it. They make the villains too powerful for the average characters (like Beast or Angel-—who they made a bad guy) to have a chance. They miss that the appeal of ALL Suoer hero groups was that to win they had to be INDIVIDUALS fighting together as a team.
Moreover with villains like Apocalypse, if he’s so powerful why does he need henchmen?
A PACO LIPS, MANG.
That having been said, it shouldn't have to have become a "war on women" cause celebre. A seventy-five foot billboard depictiing one male strangling another would have been just as egregious.
I remember the old cartoons where people or cartoon animals were often getting bopped on the heads by frying pans etc.
The kids who saw them survived.
