About six months ago I downloaded SNAPFISH thinking it was something I wanted
I soon learned it was not and went into my programs, uninstalled and everything was OK until today
I am getting a constant annoying popup saying, "We are unable to authenticate your acct." etc
I've been everywhere I know and can't find this annoyance to remove it
help
W7 w/chrome
have you un-installed it?
I deleted it, but it is a shortcut and did not remove the popup
There is nothing in my 'settings' or 'extensions'
Disable snapfish service from the MS system configuration. Please perform the steps with the help of following link.
Under service and startup tab please uncheck service related to snapfish. LINK
Hope it helsp, seemed to help the other person.
You may need to restart after deleting it form your startup.
Try combofix
404 page not found
rebooting now
next time you see the pop-up, start into your TASK MANAGER and see what is running
Go to the location of the app
delete it
It may not let you delete it, if it is running... so
EVERY FREEPER should have these three things:
1)Avast antivirus
2)MalwareBytes
3) CCLeaner
All of them have a free home version.
Run them all and do a scan/clean
Then run CCLeaner and see if you can find the application or service that is running at startup and delete it.
(it may not have the name ‘snapfish’ that’s how these arseholes keep you from completely deleting their crapware easily)
Must have inadvertantly knocked off some of the URL. Sorry.
thanx ... wilco
A program I love and will not do without is IObit Uninstaller. It will use he programs default uninstaller but then after that it will scrub the registry for all related leftover registry entries as well as any leftover files and folders.
It’s awesome, in fact all their software is.
I used to use that a lot and a geek said I should stop ... that the provided uninstallers were sufficient ....but I DID like to be part of determining the erasure
Bookmarked for later - sounds useful
As an asides ... my COMCAST provider gives free, Norton Pro (or something like that) ... would any of those interfere and/or slow down my com pyu tootin’ ?

I’m in software QA and I use it all the time. Not sure what their complain was. There are virtually no programs that uninstall cleanly.
reception's bad ...
What did you say ?
Like I said ... I liked the interaction of how it works
