On Wednesday, presidential hopeful Donald Trump released names of 11 people he'd consider appointing to the U.S. Supreme Court should he take the Oval Office. Among his picks is Texas Justice Don Willett, a prolific tweeter and meme aficionado.
However, Trump and his crew maybe should have paid more attention to Willett's tweets, as the justice has used his digital pulpit to skewer Trump throughout the campaign.
He's compared Trump's plan of building a wall to keep Mexican's out of America to the construction of the Death Star and compared one of this year's GOP debates to battling corgis.

there go his chances of being nominated...
Maybe the judge is able to separate policy differences from his job, which is to rule on the law, not to set immigration policy.
Not a bet I’d be willing to make for appointment to a job with lifetime tenure.
Willett, you’re fired!
PS. What they did to smear Judge Bork was criminal. I think God will make him an important Judge in Heaven. ('
True. But Trump will likely keep him on the list, just not select.
Judges probably need to keep off social media as a rule, other than the most generic, “I like kitties” kind of posts.
With today’s digital world, to vet anyone, you just have to announce that they are being considered for X.
Looks like this guy’s digital life zotted him!
Very unprofessional conduct for any judge.
You have to wonder if Trump had a plan in place other then releasing the names to comfort fence sitting neocons. Considering how he tends to think two steps ahead, I wonder if this is exactly what he wanted. Let the list get vetted by the media, pundits, etc... so that when a select few of the list pass muster, there won’t be any reason for disagreement if one of them gets nominated and sails through the process. Just a thought.
Only Cruz was that smart, not trump.
Which is why he chose Glenn Beck to appear on stage with him.
I thought the same thing myself.
I wouldn’t be surprised if team Trump knew of his postings, put him on the list, and then abruptly leaked his posting history.
Doing so in this manner serves several purposes.
Could very well be.
What a wonderful thought, that Bork might help out in the judging of Ted Kennedy.
“Can we just clone the DNA’s of Bork, Scalia, Thomas and Alito. Those are sure fire bets to be rock ribbed conservatives SCOTUS seats.”
BTTT
Chicken dinner.
Unprofessional for a judge but interesting that Trump will be looking for the “best person for a job” and not just a “yes” man. Trump is a leader.
