there go his chances of being nominated...

Maybe the judge is able to separate policy differences from his job, which is to rule on the law, not to set immigration policy.

Can we just clone the DNA's of Bork, Scalia, Thomas and Alito. Those are sure fire bets to be rock ribbed conservatives SCOTUS seats.
PS. What they did to smear Judge Bork was criminal. I think God will make him an important Judge in Heaven. ('

With today’s digital world, to vet anyone, you just have to announce that they are being considered for X.
Looks like this guy’s digital life zotted him!

Very unprofessional conduct for any judge.

You have to wonder if Trump had a plan in place other then releasing the names to comfort fence sitting neocons. Considering how he tends to think two steps ahead, I wonder if this is exactly what he wanted. Let the list get vetted by the media, pundits, etc... so that when a select few of the list pass muster, there won’t be any reason for disagreement if one of them gets nominated and sails through the process. Just a thought.

I wouldn’t be surprised if team Trump knew of his postings, put him on the list, and then abruptly leaked his posting history.
Doing so in this manner serves several purposes.

IMO, being political on social media disqualifies this Judge from any appointment to the SC. He is no different than the Obama appointees who legislate rather than interpret the law. I would not trust his interpretation of the Constitution.

I’m sure Trump knew about his twitter feed. We’re appointing supreme court justices, not selecting a running mate. His qualifications matter more than his views of Trump.
