Wilmette police confirm O'Connor went on a bike ride Sunday at 6 a.m. and did not return.
Earlier this month, Arsenio Hall filed a $5 million defamation lawsuit against O'Connor for claiming that the comedian supplied drugs to Prince.
The lawsuit calls O'Connor's accusations "despicable, fabricated lies" and adds that "O'Connor is now known perhaps as much for her bizarre, unhinged Internet rants as for her music."
O'Connor, whose biggest hit was a 1990 reworking of the Prince song "Nothing Compares 2 U," posted on her Facebook page about a week after Prince's death that he was a "long time hard drug user."
"Two words for the DEA investigating where prince got his drugs over the decades.... Arsenio Hall," O'Connor posted on May 2.
She added: "Arsenio I've reported you to the Carver County Sherrif's office. Expect their call. They are aware you spiked me years ago at Eddie murphy's house."

I lived in the Boston area when Sinead O’Connor tore the Pope photo. I remember Cardinal Law gathering a lot of people to burn O’Connor’s records, photos, etc. They made a huge bonfire. I’m an evangelical, but I could not understand that. The Golden Rule does not say do unto others as they have done to you—just the opposite.
Of course later it came out that Law was one of the biggest child-rapist enablers in the entire scandal. Perhaps that is the reason he felt the need to repay O’Connor in kind?
I’ve always loved her music, ignored the politics. Hope she is okay.

I thought it was of Phil Hartman’s and Jan Hooks’ best ever. May they rest in peace. Sting as Billy Idol was good too.

‘Hope she is okay.’
+1
Whenever and wherever the Sinead O’Connor story ends.. It will undoubtedly be a bizarre situation.
And those who know of her have Prince to thank for it.
IIRC she tore a photo of then Pope John Paul II in half on national television. Saint John Paul II can take the abuse. While I don’t agree with anything she represents and find her behavior and so-called art reprehensible, as a sister created in the image and likeness of God, I hope she is unharmed and if injured, gets well soon. St John Paul II would desire no less for her.
Maybe a porcupine saw that hair and tried to mate with her.
Acts 19:19 Also, many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted up the value of them, and it totaled fifty thousand pieces of silver.
Oh no, think of all the hurt feelings of the witchcraft book sellers and writers and the other witches. You don't get the golden rule do you? Love your neighbor as you love yourself does not mean condoning and supporting their sin.
She was brilliant that night. She's very troubled but very very talented too.
The woman has been tormented for decades, seemingly at war with not just Catholicism but Christianity in general. I hope she’s OK, that she gets herself straightened out and finally makes peace with God.
She definitely suffered from some kind of mental illness however.
Now some practical jokers went to Wikipedia and trashed her Discography. I think it's a rotten thing to do and unnecessary.
Maybe she has been eaten by weasels
I can’t tell if that has been trashed or not.
Loads of talent. Loads of crazy.
It definitely has been. I’m familiar with most of her works and the titles are all different with links going to nowhere relevant. Also, the dates of release have been pushed well into the 21st Century.
Sad. Trying to live off of one hit song for the past 25 years.
