A woman had to be rescued by police and firefighters after she became stuck inside a giant banyan tree in Key West.
According to the Key West Police Facebook page, Officer Scott Standerwick and Fire Rescue helped the local woman after she somehow got stuck in the tree.
Police also posted a photo of the woman with part of her legs and body sticking out of the tree with officers nearby.
"Protect and serve!" the Facebook post proclaimed.

Banyan trees are evil plants right down there with poison ivy. Wee had one in the yard her it took over a year to kill all the roots after it was cut down
They do have a few drinking establishments in the area

I didn’t realize girls grew on trees.
Was she someone’s aunt? Because sometimes those manage to get themselves trapped atop rubber tree plants. ;)

Reminds me of the joke where the 2 old gals were walking on the beach and came across a couple of guys who were buried up to their, ahem, appendages, obviously trying to get them as tan as the rest of their bodies.
When they saw them poking out, one said to the other, "After all these years chasing after those things, I finally find a place where they're growing wild - and me too old to harvest them."
Going to have to lube her up really well to get her out.........
