I'm sure this will garner the usual percentage of ribbing, scoffing, etc., but: Jim, could you please delete my account?
Apparently, I've outlived my welcome, and I'd rather not add any more aggravation to anyone else (including myself, in all honesty). Sorry to those who were upset; no permanent hard feelings, I hope.

Not really well done, but jaw-dropping in its arrogance and rudimentary language.

Perfectly defined!
Even OLD libbyloopdeedoo must have been embarrassed by it, because no matter how many time she managed to return, she avoided that OPUS thread of hers as if were a snake pit...LOL.

Well, I don’t know what starting threads has to do with anything. I’ve been here since December 1999 and I don’t think that I’ve started one thread while I’ve been here ...

Well, s/he isn’t worth my efforts to try to research how many total posts s/he’s made, now that she’s opused out. If she’d just said ‘bye’, it would have been a fairly easy task, but since s/he’s covering her tracks, it would take a bit more effort than s/he’s worth.

I dont like to see anybody OPUS out. If I ever quit FR, I think Ill just quit posting. Ive requested someone in my family to let FR know if I kick to bucket.Posting an Opus is a tradition. I don't see why some folks get bent out of shape about them. Many of us have invested quite a lot of time and money into this site. It makes sense to me to say goodbye. I'm hoping mine will at least be interesting, if not thought provoking.

His tracks aren't really covered. Here's a page of
his oldest posts. Just hit 'most recent' at the top or bottom of the page to see the most recent posts.

That would be the smart thing. People dont know how to just disengage without burning all their bridges anymore, if something gets to them.
Just take a break. Week, month, whatever you need.

I have came to the conclusion that they are all supporters of Hillary and Obama. They voted for Obama twice and plan on voting for Hillary this time.

Same here. :)
I always wonder what happened when someone quits posting. Are they ill or worse? This way at least you know.
Besides...everyone has a right to say..bye bye.

losing conservatives from the forum isn’t a cause for celebration, or gloating, or otherwise acting like 10 year olds on a playground. we’re going to need these guys in the general, and we’re giving them every reason in the world to sit this one out.
it still amazes me every time this happens.
