JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said Thursday that transgender people should be able to use whichever bathroom they choose, voicing opposition to part of a far-reaching North Carolina law that critics says is discriminatory.
Speaking at a town hall event on NBC's "Today" Thursday, Trump was asked about North Carolina's so-called "bathroom law," which, among other things, requires transgender people to use bathrooms corresponding to the gender on their birth certificate in state government buildings as well as public schools and universities.
Trump said the law had caused unnecessary strife for the state, which he said had paid "a big price" economically.
"There have been very few complaints the way it is. People go, they use the bathroom that they feel is appropriate," said Trump. "There has been so little trouble."

I’ve yet to see someone refute Trump with evidence of all the “trouble” with the existing way the bathrooms were used.
I like a president with priorities who doesn’t want laws for everything.
Shoot from the lip, which is what occurs when you’re making it up as you go along. Trump has no overall political, economic, or societal philosophies that guide his thinking. What there is boils down to, “I make great deals.” Gotta be more than a real estate savant to be a good, let alone great, president.

It’s not that hard, Donald. Even blue collar dems don’t want men who are attracted to women to use the women’s bathroom. Good grief, why couldn’t he have gone the muslim immigration route here? It’s inexplicable.

Then go vote for hillary. Trump is the only chance at beating her in the general. Cruz barely beats that other guy and it would be a struggle for both of them together to beat Trump. Neither could beat hillary. The country has more to worry about than where people are taking a dump.

No, I just strongly feel that if you are a man you do not have any reason to be in a woman’s restroom. An opinion that Donald appears to not hold in common.
It’s not an abstract issue where I live. Big flap in California because Gov. Moonbeam 2.0 signed a law permitting sex perverts to use whatever bathroom or locker room they choose. Now the school district in my town has a problem on its hands: A high school girl claims she’s a “male” and want to use the boys locker room to change/shower for gym class. She was offered an alternate area, but declined. A big setup by her unfit parents. Other parents and boys objecting to it. “Solution?” At taxpayer expense, construct individual stalls in the locker rooms throughout the school district. Wait until a healthy teenage boy says he’s a “female” and wants to use their locker room and restrooms. Then the war erupts.

I’d rather have a decent job with which I might have the wherewithal to fight the LGBTs rather than no job and see them win anyhow. No jobs and LGBT victory is what we will get anyhow from the GOPe.
