I will miss my “be sure and vote on Doughty’s Caucus” routine.
I think I’ve voted almost every day since it began.

Thank you for faithfully keeping up with it every night. I have admired your consistency and faithfulness to your self imposed task.

It was announced today that anyone saying that they support Cruz and not Trump is to be regarded as a traitor to our country and is supporting Hillary and is in danger of being zotted. So that should put a stop to all such discussion, since it is no longer being tolerated.

Boo-frikken-hoo.

Excuse my snarky brush-off, but your post has such a high butthurt quotient, I just couldn't help responding in kind.

Frankly, JimRob is right. He's a veteran of these primary battles on the forum, and more than anyone, knows when it's time to call a cease fire, and rally the opposing sides together for the real battle.

I can appreciate how much you still support Senator Cruz, but the mental/emotional tide has now turned against him. Once that happens in a race, there's no turning it back. Perception is reality.

Ted Cruz is dead in the water an essentially ‘neutered’ by his association with the GOPe and his talk of ‘unifying the party’ for the last month or so, among other things.

Hillary Clinton will be the best president corporate “Wall Street” elites can buy.

The same elites that helped John Kasich win Manhattan on Tuesday.

At least Trump appears to oppose the crony capitalists on their plans to flood the country with cheap labor.

Ted Cruz talks about ‘religious liberty’ but is unwilling to call out the corporate elites by name for their opposition to the religious freedom law vetoed by Governor Deal in Georgia last month.

Unless Ted attacks the corporate elites (name the corporations and their executives as ‘traitors’) and their opposition to First Amendment religious freedom and Second Amendment freedom in Oklahoma as posted earlier tonight on FR and connect them to Hillary, he is lifeless to me.

Thanks for the link.

As I suspected, I did not see one word in JimRob’s post that spoke of Zotting anyone who disagreed.

Quite the contrary, I thought the tone of his post was conciliatory and welcoming. You can’t “put bruised egos behind us” and “heal our differences” without talking about things.

It’s quite obvious (to me at least) that JimRob is calling the GOP-E “treasonous” not people who in good conscience supported Cruz - or may still support him.

I know for a fact that JimRob was actually in favor of Cruz as well as supportive of Trump. I was of that same mind myself. In fact my opinion of Cruz changed as a result of his actions during the campaign (nothing to do with the bimbo eruption - I care not a whit for that.)

I read JimRob’s post as a call for us to unite in a drive to get rid of the GOP-E *and* the Democrats and I think your inference of threatened Zottings is reading in a bit much.

I, for one have looked forward to each and every one of the FR caucus threads so I could post my support for my candidate and not get hammered with insults.

You have done a great job and I appreciate your hard work to make it fair.

Thank You!

Thanks for your hard work, and a little sad to see it end.

It was a very unique, creative and valuable thread this primary season.

I was fascinated by the concept, even though I canceled out my vote (became an example) the first time.

Thanks again.

What a difference a day makes when the hot news tanks from Trump's certain nomination into 'Flush Trump' for his statements and answers to a question posed to him regarding the Transgender Bathroom Issue in North Carolina.

Thank you all for your work and giving us the opportunity to vote and express (or vent) our opinions.

D-1, you have provided Free Republic with another first!

Tonight's VOTE could be interesting ... LOL.
