Kudos to DoughtyOne for the hard work in maintaining the Caucus thread. BTW, this is one of the few threads I’m going to be posting on for the time being. I don’t even enjoy scrolling thru the titles of the threads anymore, they’re so anti-Trump. A shame because FR is no longer focusing on beating Hillary and Bern.
Thank you for the nice comments.
Once the nomination is settled, the forum will return to relative peace.
Hang in there.
This happens every four years. People get worked up.
I would also like to toss Kudos to Winflier and Lonely Bull, who have been providing this thread nightly.
They ping folks here like clockwork.
They provide nice links that are helpful.
Great job!
Thanks to both of them.
Some of us have had enough of this and one of the spammers is being called out this evening on multiple threads they have posted. Based on the volume, "he/she/it/they" (as I call this entity) could be a team or semi-automated.
Yammering on about Cruz is the best for ... or Trump can get... is silly boyscout stuff. Who care what any writer the issue of Cruz or Trump — it means nothing but a biased push...
The only thing that matters is a REAL VOTE in a real voting booth... and the results thereof ... everything else is dog doo doo ... and is not worth the electrons to display it on a computer screen...
GET A LIFE ... go out and knock on doors and promote your guy ... endless harping and carping are worthless ...
I would like both these guys step up to the plate on religious freedom everywhere and ‘freedom issues’ out West.
The Republican governors like Deal in Georgia and others before did cave ins to big business pressure over First Amendment religious freedom for gay marriage objectors.
The capitalists are acting like communists and need to be called out on it for their wiping of the First Amendment on their butts.
The big business elites-crony capitalists biggest goal is wide open borders for cheap labor to flow across.
Trump can get credit for opposing them on that.
Cruz can get credit for wanting the feds to surrender Western lands to state control.
But it doesn’t get the ranchers from Oregon imprisoned now for a second time as ‘terrorists’, the Hammonds, out of jail.
The FBI fired shots during the Oregon protest in January when Lavoy Finicum was murdered with agents trying to cover it up.
Ted’s views on Western lands have helped him win in Idaho, Utah, Colorado and will help in Wyoming this weekend.
Sarah Palin had better have a strong message from Trump changing his mind when she speaks in Wyoming.
Trump was wrong when he said he wants the feds to keep the lands.
Vote Trump!
That said, the Trump-Cruz wars are not helpful. Does anyone benefit other than Hillary, Bernie, Jeb, Rubio, Kasich, and others who consistently support Amnesty, who consistently support Obamacare, and who consistently support restrictions on our individual, God-given right to keep and bear arms?
Decent Americans are better off with a real truce, and not just a Ill stop when every person who even pretends to support the other side stops gesture toward a truce that will never happen.
The personal attacks and unsubstantiated innuendo are not helping us to elect the best possible conservative in November. I want 99% or more of Cruz supporters to vote Trump, when he is nominated, even if they hold their noses. In the event that Cruz wins the nomination, I want 99% or more of Trump supporters to vote Cruz, even if they hold their noses. Offending the other side does not encourage them to vote Trump (or Cruz) in November.
I cannot help wondering how many of those who stir up the Trump-Cruz wars are actually paid trolls taking Jeb/Hillary/Soros money to cause trouble - not all of them but probably enough to set the toxic tone.
I stand by my recurring statement:
Cruz and Trump are both imperfect but they agree far more than 80% of the time (see my tagline from Ronald Reagan). They should be friends and allies, and we should treat both of them as such.
Sure thing.
Exactly like the "votes" our kids cast last week in Colorado.
