Trump's erecting a building without permits
4/11/16 | me

Posted on 04/11/2016 2:22:42 PM PDT by spacejunkie2001

Donald Trump has broken ground on a building without pulling a permit. Says Trump, "I shouldn't have to pull a permit. It's a good building. It's the building I want to build. I think it's designed well".

*************

Just pointing out that Trump couldn't do the above because those aren't the RULES. So, just like he'd have to pull a permit on a building designed to code, he has to live by the rules that have been out there all along that ALL candidates have to abide by. His whining is ridiculous. Instead of telling us all how fantastic the people are that he surrounds himself with, he ought to surround himself with fantastic people that know the RULES.

It’s anti-Trump all day all night all the time. 80% of the posts are anti-Trump on the forum? Think I’m wrong? Count them. It’s ridiculous.

It’s amazing how back when Ted was running as an “outsider” all of the Cruzlims complained about how THE RULES were set up by the establishment to keep out an “outsider” like Imam Ted (PBUH).

Now that Teb Bush is an establishment insider, THE RULES are meant to be followed and revered.

The hypocrisy of your group is only surpassed by its collective ignorance.

Regardless of the infighting and animosity, I’d still support any combination of a Cruz & Trump ticket. But when the likes of Mark Levin aim to Balkanise the constituency, the possibility of such a ticket seems futile.

Why didn’t Donald go out there?

Do you think that Trump would have had any chance with the GOPe insiders at the state convention? Do you support the Colorado GOP making rules that GOPe insiders picked the delegates rather the voters? Rules are rules after all.

Wow! This is your post?

Cruz is playing by the rules as they are laid out....nothing wrong there....

EXCEPT:

The complaint is that the rules are unfair to the electorate and the game is effectively rigged by the establishment.....

Without the establishment push and some shenanigans for Cruz in Colorado, Cruz would not have been nearly as effective.....

The head of the GOPe in Colorado tweeted “congrats! we stopped Trump” shortly after the Colorado tally was counted... Then, the tweet was almost immediately recalled....

Since when on this forum do we cheer the Establishment cheating, lying and the effective neutering of the electorate in the process???

Wow. What a random question. Let me play that game.

If a train left Dallas heading for Portland at 11:45 and a plane left Seattle for Los Angles at 6:15 what time does it start to rain in Atlanta?

Why don’t you answer the question? I’ll include Cruz if you want. It’s a very simple question.

How many votes did Cruz, Kasich, and Trump get in Colorado?

Your candidate can’t even win a vote in here, and is millions of votes behind in primaries.

But you think he can win a general election? Hillary thanks you.

Reminds me of Iraq under Saddam Huessein. He won free and fair elections every time garnering 100% of the vote. Fair? Of course it was fair. People knew the rules going in. After all, what could be fairer than a corrupt political machine making the rules and forcing the peasants to play along without complaining?

I see, okay. So we’re going to comb through Trump’s past to find examples where Trump used the rules in his favor or bent the rules, to justify Cruz and his GOPe pals disenfranchising voters. Trump is not disenfranchising voters. Cruz is. You’re pathetic.

“I definitely think the system needs to be fixed but it is what it is at this point and all parties knew it (or should have).”

I seriously doubt that most of the Cruz supporters in Colorado knew that rule either. It had evidently never been used before.

Yes, it may have been a rule but it still just looks like a sleazy trick. The Cruz campaign did basically the same thing in Louisiana to get an even split of delegates in a state he lost resoundingly. This was an obvious misuse of the rule to deny people a voice in choosing their candidate.
These are tricks that cannot be used in the general election.

Senator Cruz has just alienated 30% to 40% of the Republican electorate. Cruz supporters used to ask “How can Trump win with only 40% of the Republican vote? They now need to seriously ask, “How can Cruz win without 40% of the Republican vote?”

The way the Cruz campaign won in Colorado ensured that if he is the nominee then PIAPS or Mr Green Jeans will be the next president. Incidentally, if the vote at the convention goes for more than one vote the nominee will not be Senator Cruz the GrOP-E will cast him aside like a pair of worn out shoes.

My preferences are now;
Trump
Ryan
Kasich
Hitler
Stalin
Satan
Bernie
Hillary
Cruz

I’d bet that is true with many Trump supporters. That is a shame because Mr Trump and Senator Cruz are, in some ways similar candidates.
