At least the vast majority FR membership knows what's up, and who's the GOPe dupe, and who's the presumptive nominee...
Is 86.67%-12.22% a new record?
Looks like we are now running 6-1 Trump.
Has anyone noticed die hard Cruz supporters sound a lot like obama supporters?
I support Trump but would be okay with a Cruz Presidency and I think most Trump supporters feel the same way but those who support Cruz primarily are not okay with a Trump Presidency.
Just seems very odd to me...
Trump had 156 votes. Do you think that represents the "vast majority" of FR membership? Or do you think perhaps it might be too small a sample size to make that claim?
Yes. Make that 7-1 Trump.
I would say it those that care enough to vote daily are representative of the larger population that can’t be bothered on a daily basis.
That's not what I'm seeing. Just in the last few days I am seeing many Trump followers openly saying, right here on FR, that they will never vote for Cruz, even against Hillary! Some Trump supporters have even said they will actually vote for Hillary!
“Just in the last few days I am seeing many Trump followers openly saying, right here on FR, that they will never vote for Cruz, even against Hillary!”
Sounds like “The Great One”.
The FR Caucus is open to all members. I think the sample size is quite adequate.
If Ted Cruz supporters aren't as enthusiastic, that's nobody's fault but theirs.
You'd think that Cruz voters would be motivated to show their support, given the apparent disparity with the hated demon Donald Trump.
I think the 7-to-1 margin is very much representative of the active FR membership as a whole.
It certainly seems to be the fairest approximation available, given that it's open to every FR member willing to go to the enormous trouble of combining the string "Vote " with the surname of their preferred GOP candidate, pasting it into a window, and pressing the "Post" button.
That shouldn't be an undue burden on anyone...
I’ll vote for Hillary.
But only if I’m a juror at her trial.
After seeing the difference between voting for and electing a Bush, and having Obama elected because the Republicans ran McCain and Romney, you have to realize that it is a Uniparty. The only difference is that you get to perdition faster with the Democrat than you do with the Republican.
Donald Trump is the only candidate that is so outside the “club” that all the Uniparty and their supporters are absolutely petrified that he might get elected and start turning off the spigot to the public trough!
Ted Cruz has exactly the same characteristics and qualification for President that Barack Obama had. If you looked at Obama’s history and associations, you knew he was lying about everything, but people didn’t care, they believed the lie. If you look at Ted Cruz’ history and associations you can see that he is the same kind of big government establishment guy, and that all this constitutional stuff is a lie. We know he is a snake before we take him in.
So I disagree with those Trump supporters who would vote for Hillary. I think that if Cruz gets the nomination we should whole heatedly support and vote for him. The chance to say, “See I told you so!” to the Tediban and the Cruzadians will just be to much fun. ;-)
First of all, Cruz will be mathematically eliminated. There is no way possible of him reaching 1237. Would require too many miracle finishes. But if he does become the nominee via convention shenanigans, the FReepers swearing not to vote for him will no longer be FReepers.
FR is going to do whatever we possibly can to defeat the God-hating, America-hating, constitution-hating, capitalism-hating communist/socialist/fascist totalitarian democrats!!
Anyone who works against us on this is no FReeper and will be booted!!
Since last fall, I suspected that a good number of Cruz supporters on FR are really just establishment trolls who are only pretending to be Cruz supporters.
Their goal is to try to harm both Trump and Cruz by saying ugly nasty things about Trump in Cruz's name.
With all the pro-Cruz propaganda here at FR and the disconnect with the paltry Cruz vote totals on the FR Caucus, a good explanation is that many of these Cruz people aren't really for him at all, they're just establishment hacks pretending to be pro-Cruz.
If so, it's no surprise they won't Vote Cruz.
As a result, Cruz's FR Caucus vote totals are embarrasing.
