43% was pretty good considering that about a dozen people were still on the ballot even though they had dropped out by the time of the primary.

43% was pretty good

Cruz's Texas win marks lowest home state support in 104 years

There were six people on the Republican ballot in Texas.

Two of them got 4%. One got 1%.

One got 18, once got 27, and one got 43.8%.

Where did you get the dozen figure?

That’s the same argument Cruzers were using against Trump when the field was the size of a softball team: “Why isn’t he getting 50%?”
As usual Trump will keep his own counsel, but it will be interesting to see if he tweets back to this twaddle.

And also considering that it’s an open primary state where Democrats can cross over and vote for Trump instead of Cruz. And Texas has a LOT of Democrats....more and more every year.

Ted Cruz is a sitting Senator from Texas.

It doesn't matter if there were six (reality) or sixteen, he should have been able to carry 50% of the voters no matter what.

So, with that many people on the ballot, 35 percent was pretty good, too, wasn't it?

Cruz won his home state by 8 percent. Trump will win his by 30 percent or so, give or take 5. I think Cruz should have dropped out after that humiliation. It's not too late.

Sorry, I am fairy certain that all states have all candidates on the primary ballots whether they have dropped out or not.

My Illinois ballot had all candidates listed, even tho there were only 4 candidates officially left in the running at the time of the primary election...

So the fact that Cruz got 43% is really not impacted by fact that ballots are all pre-printed with all candidates.

Rafael Ted Cruz born in Canada is in the pockets of his Billionaire sugar daddy's. IOW they are his pimps. Cruz has flip flopped on so many issues, he is totally untrusTED. Watch his flip flops here on recorded video's. Video's are for ever. Trump is correct in calling him Lying Ted.

Cruz pushing Path to Legal Status for ALL Illegals

Cheap Foreign Workers on H1-B visa

Pushing TPP

Pushing import of Syrian Refugees

Video's do not lie. Believe Your Lyin Eyes!

Perhaps, but Cruz also didn't have the whole GOPe/RNC/MSM and a host of others actively trying to take him down - hypocritical to say the least when he makes that statement...

Words mean things. In this case, the Cruz campaigns words, taken as written, mean he should have dropped out after Texas.

FYI, all remain on the ballot even after dropping it. Technically the other campaigns are suspended
