No, it's votes that matter, not polls. It doesn't matter if 99% of the people don't like Trump as long as they don't like Hillary either or don't vote for some other reason.
[ I have a negative view of Trump, but I sure as hell will vote for him. ]
I would vote for a sock puppet made out of a dirty wet gym sock that has never been washed over Hillary or Bernie.
3% of the eligible voters in the U.S. have cast a vote for Trump. That's about 8 million out of 250 million eligible voters. Don't think that a yuge majority of voters are standing in line.
But two things: he is very likable, nobody who has listened to him
***********************************************************
He is NOT likeable. And I stopped listening to him a couple of months back. When he stopped talking about the issues. But I WILL vote for him when push comes to shove. Maybe in some other universe he might be likeable but NOT this one.
There is no way Cruz will get enough crossover votes to overcome the parasite vote. No way. Just look at what’s happening in NY right now. Cruz will get obliterated.
You have the Republicans, Democrats, reporters, corporations and the establishment and part of a billion in super pacs all running negative adds or talking like he is Satan.
All the talk show hosts are calling him Satan.
Lots of old guard protecting their stuff going on, so of course right now he has negatives, but that can change. Trump unlike Cruz has a personality and he can recover, whereas Cruz and Clinton can’t grow a personality.
Actually, he only has more than 30% of the Republican vote. Since Republicans only constitute about 26% of the population as of a year ago, that means he has the votes of about 10% of the voting public.
What's wrong with letting Japan defend itself? Or S Korea?
Nuclear proliferation was a false flag when Pakistan and India got nukes. Couple that with Bill Clinton giving nukes to N. Korea and now Obama OKing Iranian nukes.
The cat's out of the bag. What is needed now are strong alliances and the fortitude to defend those allies so that nuclear weapons are not used. That's simply not the case as the world stands now.
He talks about the issues in every speech.
Based on what we are seeing now, Trump could join Mondale and McGovern as the only candidates to lose 49 states. If he has to defend deep red states like Mississippi and Utah, he would lose in a landslide.
The media is in pure Alinsky mode supporting Hillary. Repeat after me:
“Cruz is a liar.”
“Everybody hates Trump.”
Sing along with the Clintons.
The problem is the minority that support him are quite noisy and annoying. Look at the number of FR members that have been around 10+ years they have managed to run off...
Bernie has better numbers than Hillary and will be much more difficult to demonize despite his age and despite his admitted socialism.
It’s all speculation.
Actually, it wasn't even until the middle of May.
Keep whistling. I'm sure you'll make it past the graveyard soon...
“The problem is the minority that support him are quite noisy and annoying. Look at the number of FR members that have been around 10+ years they have managed to run off...”
Yup, my mom has been a FR member since 1999. She won’t even come near it no more. She supports Ted Cruz. The final straw for her was a Trump supporter sent her a profanity laced private message and hurled very personal insults. It was so bad I almost think it was written by The Donald himself.
No way Cruz will win any blue states. So you can keep whistling too.
