“It was a strong insult to the anti-abortion movement, which has a political message on the issue meant to avoid targeting women.”

All I can say, if they think it is an insult to hold a woman accountable for her actions, then they may as well go join the pro-choice movement. Nothing will change. We need an open and honest discussion.

Anti-abortion groups will be MORE than happy with Trump. Any Republican including those who have pulled out of the race, would be immensely better than Hillary and everybody knows it.

How stupid are these people. The POTUS has almost nothing to do with the issue.

One might consider if a woman hired a hit man to kill her husband, who would be guilty; the hitman only or the wife and the hitman? An abortion is not a victimless crime and the woman would be the one who solicited the procedure.

Trump seems to be twisted in knots regarding abortion, and he’s going to keep getting questioned in this regard, because of it. For instance, today in a New York Times article:

Dowd: When [you were] a swinging bachelor in Manhattan, [were you] ever involved with anyone who had an abortion?

Trump: “Such an interesting question,” he said. “So what’s your next question?”

Yeah, because women cannot ever be held morally responsible for what they do! If laws are passed making abortion illegal and a woman goes and kills her unborn baby in defiance of the law, it’s not her fault! She’s a victim!

WHAT TOTAL NONSENSE!

Trump’s comment exposed the rampant gynocentrism of the pro-life movement. Too bad he walked it back. Forgive me for now doubting the sincerity of those who claim abortion is murder on the one hand but want to absolve women who have abortions of all responsibility. Hiring a hitman to murder someone doesn’t make one innocent of murder. Having a vagina also doesn’t make one innocent, aka gynocentrism.

Why do you use the term "anti-abortion"?

And what, if anything, should happen to the man who "caused" the pregnancy, but wouldn't stick by the woman even if begged to do so? Does he go to jail "or worse" as well, and if not, why not?

She could have the baby and he would be paying child support for the next 22 or so years.

Blame the man, eh? Woman decides to have sex. Woman gets pregnant. Woman intentionally decides to murder her unborn. Woman not guilty! She’s a poor victim! Man who had sex with her? Guilty! Abortion doctor? Guilty!

It’s a simple fact of nature that women are the child bearers. It may not seem “fair” or “equal”, but women literally bear the consequences of sex by nature’s design. Therefore, it seems wise to be a bit more choosy about whom one spreads one’s legs for, but modern feminism seeks to absolve women of all responsibility for their actions by deflecting blame on everyone else.

Men have no say in whether women can have abortions. Dare say the father should get a vote? Women would riot. Yet, women also want to claim the man is somehow responsible??? If full authority lies with the woman, full responsibility must be her’s, too.

Told you this was coming.

Of course it was, a "Gotcha ya foo" by Chrissy Matthews reminiscent of the midget Stephanofoolus during the Romney debate..........

Trump was an idiot in even giving Matthews the time of day and the GOP was equally ignorant in allowing a former Democrat who was attached to the hip of Clinton to moderate the 2012 debate involving Romney.......

You’re adding your own bitter slant. I’m not going to debate something I never said.

Here’s an idea.

If you think that what Trump said was so hurtful to the pro-baby people, then maybe you shouldn’t keep bringing it up.

Perhaps you are just helping the pro-baby-killers.

From a Catholic point of view, better to pay now than in purgatory. :)

Why do you use the term "anti-abortion"?

Because it includes everyone who is against abortion, other than to save the mothers life, for whatever reason they are against it.
