Once upon a time Jonah Goldberg was a conservative, but he sold out long ago. This is nothing but a pack of lies. I guess he’s worried that National Review will go down the sewer without support from the criminal establishment.
If a person can’t find something legitimate and insightful to post about a candidate, Trump or Cruz then restraint should be the order of the day, otherwise it’s just preaching to the choir and will garner nothing of substance, much like mastur.....

So this is a theory that Donald is courting the conservative vote despite not being a longtime conservative. It’s an interesting idea. There could be something to it, without it being the whole story. It’s been said that “a conservative is a liberal who has been mugged by reality.” If Donald is somewhat liberal but realizes that the liberal position on Islam is insane, that might explain a partial conversion to conservatism.
