One should reset the phlogiston defenestrator at least once a month. Or there will be a large occurrance.

Interesting.
My 67 Chevy has a hydraulic power convertible top.
I’m guessing the Mercedes window system was similar.

My dealer tried to sell me those. I said, “Why should I pay for self-rotating tires when they’ll just spin when I drive?” Showed him! I did get the Lifetime Carburetor, though. Thing is so small, you can’t even find it!

I get my own prop wash. I live near a slipstream.

GMs in the 1950s had hydraulic-electric power windows too, IINM. Especially Buicks and Cadillacs.

Thanks for the reminder - with the warmer weather I need to get down there and have them switch over to summer air in my tires. I don’t see how it can make much difference - but they said it has to do with moisture, temperature and pressure.

Don’;t forget to change out the air in your tires too- you want to get rid of the winter air and put summer air in it because summer air is lighter, and it will get you better gas mileage and less wear and tear on your tires

Just like the old AF joke about a 100 feet of flightline and the Army joke of a box of grid squares. Never gets old because there are always newbies.

But never go down to the engine room and ask for a BT punch.

The funny thing is that there is (or was) a product called Prop Wash.

I did a test on the blinkers this morning. They worked fine in the driveway. I tested them again after I drove seven miles and they weren’t working so I don’t think it’s the bulbs themselves.

You really can’t tell whether the blinkers going to work or not. That’s why I leave mine on all the time.

Thanks for reminding me.
While I’m at the auto mechanic, I’ll ask him to change exchange the winter air for spring air. Summer air is too expensive right now.

Does this work in British cars? Will it stop Lucas smoke from escaping from the wires? OEM replacement smoke is getting scarce these days.
