All right, Walking Dead Heads! AMC briefly had this audio snippet of TWD's half-season finale on its site, then quickly snatched it offline. However, someone grabbed it and put it into an audiofile here. Takes a few seconds to fully load. This Negan dude will be something else! ConjunctionJunction, please ping the list.

The TV series is about 5 years behind the TV show, but following the same basic plot (since Gimple took over as show runner staying). There is a very terrible horrible death at Negan’s hands that still hurts years later in the comics. Might not be hitting this next ep though, because Negan had been around for a bit before then. But the clip in the preview showed the RV so...
They’re not supposed to. The story is about the rebuild of society, eventually the zombies become less of a problem. They went a few years in the comic without a zombie death once they got settled in Alexandria. The targeted end is people talking about how the zombie problem has been dealt with.
Is this the end of the series or will it return next season?
That is a good idea. I’ll probably chicken out and will just check out the WD thread.
Sunday will be the season finale with next season starting approximately in October..........

Thanks. I can deal with waiting until the second episode then. LOL
If they follow the comic book, we know which major character Negan will kill. OTOH, TV doesn’t necessarily follow comics. in the comic book Andrea was not killed by the governor, and went on to live in Alexandria. And Daryl doesn’t exist in the comic series.
One thing that I’m certain of. A major character (major as in around since season one) dies in Sunday’s season finale. To do otherwise would be to seriously downgrade the power and evil of the Negan character, making him just another savior who kills some secondary character.
Another factor is that unlike comics, the TV series has real people actors who might have other projects or plans that they would prefer to do vice Walking Dead. It’s conceivable they might want their character killed off.
Oops, my response was meant for Kalee.....sorry

Maybe or maybe not........They've been very successful in working around the actual plot lines of the comics......
I kind of thought it might have been for someone else. LOL
I’ve done that more than a few times.
Thanks!
I get the feeling Carol will the “Holly” treatment from the comic.
Too late, for me. Just as well. Not sure I want to know ahead of time.
I think I’ll chicken out and not watch the last episode.
I don’t seem to be able to do that. LOL. Besides they didn’t let us know who got killed anyway.

Thanks for letting me know that. So no one in the group was shown being killed?
I read the thread and it must have been very intense.
Yes it was a nailbiter for sure, but no surprise that they didn’t reveal who got the business end of Lucille. It’s what I expected. Now we have to wait till the next season.
Rick & the crew have just had a come-uppance, but if only one has been killed, they will take revenge eventually, I imagine. I’ll be wanting to see the end of Negan sooner rather than later!
It does sound intense. Thanks very much for your insight.
Welcome. Nice talking to you.
