In a 2-to-1 decision by the western 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, the judges decided the condition has been wrongly equated with poor moral character and instead is a medical disease.

Pretty PATHETIC, and they want to know why people don’t respect the rulings of the COURT. They are all crazier than the perpetual drunk. It has nothing to do with his legally being in the USA, there is plenty of tequila in Mexico for him to continue his career.

While I don't necessarily agree with the "disease" model of alcoholism, why should it matter? Why can't we deport a illegal alien with a medically untreatable disease which creates an extreme danger to those around them? .
