Examining Trump's Problem With Female Voters
NBC ^ | 3/24/16 | Carrie Dann

Posted on 03/24/2016 11:41:13 AM PDT by libbylu

This month, about half (47 percent) of Republican female primary voters said they could not imagine themselves voting for Trump. (About 40 percent of male GOP primary voters said the same.) Compare that to their relative willingness to accept Trump's rivals. Only about three in ten female Republican voters say they can't imagine backing Ted Cruz (32 percent) and John Kasich (27 percent). The poll, which was taken before Marco Rubio exited the presidential race, also showed that only 30 percent of GOP women couldn't imagine backing the Florida senator.

Trump’s favorability with women overall is a dismal 21 percent positive/ 70 (!) percent negative.

So?

You want to vote for John Kasich since the girls love him?

No? Well ok then.

Elections are long things. Once /Bush/Romney/Cruz/Kasich take a hint, then Trump can concentrate on the general election.

I couldn’t imagine myself voting for Mitt Romney. But I did it. So I truly don’t care how any Republican feels about voting for Donald Trump. Vote for him or don’t.

My friends/relatives support Trump. He is the best candidate. They are Christian conservatives.

No offense to the women in the audience, but women are remarkably changeable creatures. How many of them - when they first met their future spouse - said? “I wouldn't go out with him for anything.” Or “Marry him! I'd sooner become a nun.”

But things change and opinions do as well.

An NBC poll? A steaming pile of crap, you mean. Look at his rallies. Lots of women there, cheering. Vote for the hildebeast if you like.

I couldn’t see myself voting for Dole, Bush2, McCain or Romney, but I held my nose and voted for them anyway. I’m sure there were millions of sore noses during those elections.

And yet none of your guys can beat him. How sad do your candidates have to be that they are losing to this guy?

All this tells me is that a lot of Republican women are no smarter than Democrat women. It is still all touchie feelie to them. Trump hurt my feelings so I am not going to vote for him. Seems they are still looking for their “safe area” like the college students are. Grow up.

BS, every woman I know is voting for Trump. But you go ahead with your little propaganda campaign, I know it's all you have left.

Examining Trump's America's Problem With Female Voters.

Generally not substantive, far-sighted, nuanced, or well reasoned, but superficial and off point.

I suspect a lot of women do secretly support Trump, but there’s more social stigma against women for admitting it.

Who allowed these women out of the kitchen? Certainly Ted Cruz and Mitt Romney wouldn't endanger these women by allowing them out of the kitchen!

Cruz/Graham 2016!

I can't imagine Hillary's ratings are anything to write home about either. But Trump will not attract anywhere near a majority vote among women in the November election.
