So?
You want to vote for John Kasich since the girls love him?
No? Well ok then.
Elections are long things. Once /Bush/Romney/Cruz/Kasich take a hint, then Trump can concentrate on the general election.
Why? Do you seriously believe that the stuff Trump is saying about Kelly, or the stuff with Cruz's wife, actually helps him win votes against Cruz/Kasich? And what if Bush or Romney never "take a hint", and keep cracking on him during the general election? Is Trump going to keep doing this kind of stuff right on through the general election.
I can't stand Trump, but I'm resigned to him being the nominee, so I hope he beats Hillary. But his obsession with tit-for-tat insults and comments that offend women are not helping his primary campaign, and they certainly aren't going to help him in the general election.
There are a ton of people in this country who can't stand Hillary, and would love to vote against her. That's the reason even an unappealing guy like Cruz does fairly well against her in the polls. A warm bucket of spit could probably beat her in the general election. The problem is that Trump seems bound and determined to make himself less appealing to swing voters than that warm bucket of spit. And people who otherwise just couldn't bring themlseves to vote for Hillary are going to do it just because it's Trump on the other side.
Your candidate needs to grow up. And I'm not saying it should be Cruz or Kasich, because any scenario under which Trump doesn't win is going to anger enough of his supporters that we lose anyway. So it has to be Trump.
So he ought to look like he at least cares somewhat about how many people he offendse.
And how will that change his poll numbers among women?
