“When do the Cruzers vote? Right now there are 60 odd votes with only 5 Cruzers. Are they stealth voters who vote at 3 a.m.? Just curious.”

Doughty?

I could post it but who would you want on it? Just the people who have been participating or should I add some of those on the Caucus thread? I could grab some names from there and maybe keep adding to it.

I usually vote mid morning. And try to come back after the caucus closes for the day.

Thanks for that, Amy.

I would suggest making a quick post on this thread each day, asking if anyone would like to be added to the FR Caucus discussion ping list.

I’ll bet you’d get more than a couple of joiners each day.

They straggle in during the 24 hour period.

I have noticed they start out slow some days. They’ll probably pick up though.

The last few days have been like that.

Trump still looking strong in the FR caucus at above 4-to-1 over Ted Cruz. It had been about 3-to-1, but when Cruz jumped the shark a week ago Friday after the organized thugs criminally disrupted the Donald Trump rally, Cruz began to lose support from among his own people.

Cruz's loss of support occurred almost instantly in the immediate aftermath of his weak and tone-deaf speak, with showed both a distinct lack of leadership as well as unprincipled, naked opportunism.

Had Ted Cruz instead been a statesman that night, he might very well have helped himself with the electorate. Instead, he lost 300,000 (three hundred thousand) Twitter followers virtually overnight.

He doesn't seem to have recovered from that as yet.

It was a pivotal moment in Cruz's campaign, eclipsing only the moment when Cruz, completely disingenuously, shamelessly played the race card against Donald Trump several days earlier.

Pay attention to the other daughter coming out of the bus. She is turning away for some reason, like she wants to return to it.

Inquiring minds want to know!

Yeah, Ted and his campaign have committed a series of unforced errors during this primary, all of which have hurt him with the voters.

“New York values” comes to mind.

Is that a circular argument he’s making?

I’ve got six kids. I’m sure I’ve had a few ‘yikes’ moments myself, but fortunately, I didn’t have a video camera stuck in my face all the time.

Don’t forget that the Cruz folks only have to vote 1.5 times per hour to hang on to the percentage they have.

I agree.

He may have said something on the bus and been trying to make it up to her.

Those things can happen.

Who knows. The kid could have just been tired of being dragged all over the place. Or maybe she didn’t get to stop at someplace she got fascinated with. Kids can get real cranky on road trips.

Sure. This has been a real drag for her I’m sure.

She wants to be home with friends, an sometimes Ted wants her with him.

I can see both points of view.

I can honestly say that I was following Ted Cruz and supported him with a donation. I hadn't done my "due diligence", but instead had relied on ratings and hearsay. I see nothing "conservative" about this guy.

I quickly left the fold when I started researching him and listening to him. He has the preaching lawyer thing down really good. But, when you look at his record, the only time he showed up to represent conservatism was when he was paid to do so.

Cruz has been in court representing Communist Chinese and drug companies accused of wrongdoing. He was on the appeals side, and lost lots of those cases. In an appeal, your goal is not to contest the decision, but instead attacks the methodology. He is the perfect smarmy lawyer type.

Like others are saying, there are a number of reasons why should could be upset.

Wanted to be with friends instead...

Ted may have had to talk with her on the bus...

They may have some issues to work out...

She just may be moody because of her age bracket...
