How else would a Conservative minded person endorse a moderate at best, liberal at worst candidate?

Oh man...might as well have not made the endorsement if you are going to turn around and say these types of things a few days later.
Ben, Ben, Ben...we love you brother...but this is not Prime Time stuff.

I’ve seen this story at least three or four times this morning before noon. This thread needs to be subsumed with one of the other threads that nobody is paying attention to, frankly. Last minute electioneering is misplaced here. Everyone is convinced for whom they’d vote. This perhaps would be better served on Yahoo for the idiots out there looking for guidance..

In other words, he didn’t say that.

This diminishes him, and there are laws against such agreements.
To: marjiwoj
essentially saying he didnt want to endorse Donald Trump but did so because Trump offered him an advisory role if elected He said no such thing, Ertelt, you filthy liar
To: marjiwoj
The interview actually shows that Carson would have preferred a different candidate but none of the current crop are better than Trump.
Then he said he will have an advisory role in a Trump administration.
Not a bribe.

I smell the BS. He didn’t say anything close to that in the interview.

From the article...."Ben Carson made a startling admission in a new interview, essentially saying he didnt want to endorse Donald Trump but did so because Trump offered him an advisory role if elected."......

This is a total mischaracterization of what Carson said. It is best if you listen to the actual Carson interview.
Also, promising an “advisory role” is not a promise of an official role

Let’s pretend the truth is that Trump offered a job in exchange for Carson’s endorsement.
If that’s true, why would Carson tell people this knowing or should have known this is illegal?
Is Carson an idiot or he is just trying to sabotage Trump?

essentially saying he didnt want to endorse Donald Trump but did so because Trump offered him an advisory role if elected. Key word is "essentially", which is open to interpretation....
