This thread is like the last thread.
DO NOT VOTE ON THIS THREAD.
This is the nightly DISCUSSION thread for the ongoing 2016 Free Republic Caucus. Per caucus rules, no comments are allowed on the caucus thread itself - hence this open chat thread.
If you'd like to vote in the caucus, please look in the sidebar for the link, or check downthread here.
Thanks, and let 'er rip!

Free Republic Caucus 2016 03/13
As well it should be.
I'd be interested to see if the extra Trump votes are "new" versus from folks that used to vote for Cruz. It seems that Saturdays are always a lower day for Cruz.
In fact, I would love to see a table of voters, who they voted for, and what their member date is, plotted over time. I assume you have that in your data somewhere. There seems to be a lot of 1998-2000 vintage voters that otherwise do not seem to participate on the forum.
But if the extra Trump votes came from fresh sign ups, that is much different from former Cruz voters now voting Trump.
Thanks for running this.
“Soon you will have your own echo chamber. Congratulations!”
I see you’ve reduced yourself to committing random drive by attacks on Freepers who are doing nothing but conversing about the election amongst themselves.
FU Charles. FU very much.
Yes, but what good is a win if they deem second place worthy of close to the same amount of delegates?
This is like not keeping score at children’s sporting events, so as not to cause any hurt feelings.
Of course the stakes here are a lot more important.
“:^)
Are you free to vote as you please on the caucus?
So is everyone else.
We haven’t coerced people about how they vote in the caucus, and I would be the first attack anyone doing that.
Folks are free to vote as they want in the Caucus.
Folks have chosen to vote for Trump vs Cruz.
That’s how it works in a Constitutional Republic.

(oops)
I think its pretty clear what happened.
I did too; sometimes I tend towards a little understatement.
I also think theres a strong likelihood the fallout will be seen to grow in the next day or two.
Well see if my hunch is correct.
I'm wondering about not only these votes but the actual elections this Tuesday.
So am I...
