Please be sure to ping me when you do. I want to see what you have to say.

Thanks. Disclaimer: Most of the words are mine- the “left on the battlefield” segment, was posted by a freeper that I failed to identify, appearing in a popular thread over the past 24 hours. You’re right about how people interpret such a swipe. I’ve been careful not to pile on Cruz, in any derogatory way... until this nastygram surfaced.

I never wanted to criticize Ted, but he earned my criticism and my everlasting enmity when he voted to give Obama power via TPA/TPP. He then lost me forever by voting Aye on the despicable Corker bill.

Everything that’s been revealed about him since then, has only confirmed it.

MistrusTED.

After Cruz praised the Chicago rioters:
Cruz at the lowest he has ever been.

Another tone deaf clueless move by Cruz. He's got the political instincts of a turnip.

If this FR trend reflects the opinions of any significant portion of GOP primary voters Cruz's campaign is over.

A deep sense of betrayal grew in me since the bank bailouts and Bush’s amnesty, yet I dutifully remained a little groveler at the GOP throne since 1999 because I thought we could reform the party from the inside. I joined organizations I thought would welcome me with open arms, and donated as much as I could afford to these organizations.

I defended everyone and everything whenever a liberal attacked me on some forum. I used to come to FR for solace and education, much like a soldier going to rearm from a munitions depot.

It’s one thing for the GOP to betray me, but when the conservative movement does? I feel like I’m the loneliest person in the world, surrounded by lying ghosts.

Beyond mourning at this point. All they do is keep asking for more money. Another ten, twenty, one hundred dollars. My ROI? A “conservative” taking the side of ANSWER, MoveOn.org, Communists, Anarchists, etc. instead of the Bill of Rights.

I’m sorry because I know how it feels to be let down by these people we defended so vigorously. When it came time to stand up for us everyone ran away and let King Obama do what he wished.
Now that we voice our opinion they try to crush us like the communists they have secretly been running around with behind the scenes. Every candidate besides Trump is a huge sellout when it comes to what they promised us then and especially now. Cruz had become anti-Constitution over night.

Just throwing that out there.

NC is proportional. They move the rules around.

We have 72 but it is up in the air.

Cruz lost support here at FR because of his ill-considered words yesterday. And Trump benefited.

As for the rest of the web, there’s some anecdotal examples of the negative effect Cruz’s words have had on his support: his loss of Twitter followers, the firestorm against him on Facebook.

However, these non-FR things tell us only about how Cruz lost, but not how Trump has gained.

That’s one nice thing about the FR daily caucus. It shows the effects of daily news on both campaigns.

Thank you.

The winner take all aspects are very important.

If states change that, Trump won’t have a prayer of making 1237.

Ping me as well when you give your observations

Cruz lost me as the no. 2 or vp when he joined in on the kkk lies and this just seals the NO deal. Playing the race card was stupid enough, but the manipulative speech, which puts fault on Trump for violence of people who have been stirred into a fury because that's what the media focuses on is the media's fault as much as the GOPe fault for going along with it.

when I see protesters dragging the flag of this country through mud, spitting on it, and hoisting a flag of Mexico instead, then that speaks volumes. They hate America, not just Trump or their perception of Trump. To side with them in any way is to side with the enemy.

Cruz chose the wrong side. You can't blame Trump's rhetoric when you got people like Beck furthering the idea that Trump is Hitler or other such garbage. And fanning the flames of hate while stumping for Cruz is most disgusting. Beck is as much responsible as anyone else..if not more in media. And that means Cruz is too for not distancing himself from

I've never said a negative word about Cruz or any of his supporters... I used to support him myself. No more. No way. I'm done! Trump is imperfect, we know that, but someone else THINKS he is perfect. I'll be voting Trump on Tuesday in my state.

Just voted in the FR Caucus and Cruz is getting slaughtered early. Is it always like that or is it bc that Lying d-bag Cruz jumped in bed with leftist radicals?
I’d like to see him pay the price for being such a traitorous back stabber.

The Trump 82.08% is even more noticeable. This ratio of Trump votes to Cruz votes is 4.7 to 1.

Soon you will have your own echo chamber. Congratulations!
