The Truth about Trump

China and other countries want to sell me goods at a cheap price. Trump wants to put a stop to that in order to appease the visible victim, the angry unemployed widget worker. The invisible victims are much greater in number and any tariff or "fair trade" is awful for them. Who in their right mind complains when something is getting sold at a cheap price?

It is time to put America first and stop Trump from increasing the price Americans pay for foreign goods.

LOL, no doubt. Perhaps even 2 per shoe. Each one does half the shoe, and the other one finishes up.

Nice try at a “false choice”.

The ones at FoxConn certainly wish they were somewhere else.

Are you really claiming that it’s OK if their lives really, really suck because if they didn’t really, really suck they would really, really, really suck?

Let me guess ... you must have an MBA.

Since they aren’t really slaves then it isn’t a false choice. These workers have a real choice - work or not work.

If they had that choice there wouldn’t be fences around the top of the FoxConn dormitories to keep them from jumping.

They aren’t slaves. They can quit.

If the choice is “quit” or “suicide”, why would they chose “suicide”?

It’s obvious you derive much of your compensation from wage and environmental arbitrage ... taking advantage of your fellow human beings to feather your own nest.

You mean money printing by the Fed, or loans from banks? They don’t create wealth. The Fed is stealing consumer wealth by cheapening the currency and banks are simply creating indebtedness. If those loans do not generate products or services, they don’t create wealth. Sorry, that’s all Keynesian make-believe in my view.

You know what they call it when goods and services are really cheap, but half the population can’t afford them anyway?

A Depression.

I don’t care that my cheap goods are manufactured by political slave laborers. I don’t care if the communist government unfairly subsidized my cheap goods to destroy American business. If the choice is give me liberty or cheap goods I’ll take cheap goods. (sarcasm tag)

Apparently disappointed that your clarion call of “Cheap Stuff for everyone” hasn’t brought the following you had hoped for.

I’m guessing you are a supporter also of the Cheap Labor Express, where not only do you get to buy cheap stuff from China, but you also get to hire cheap gardeners and housekeepers from Mexico.

He doesn’t listen to anybody, whether he’s right or wrong, he just does.

History (and the graveyards of the world) are littered with such fools.

No. Illegal aliens do not respect our laws and should be imprisoned and/or deported. Zero amnesty.

Finance creates wealth in that it supplies the capital for the cheap manufacturing around the world. The bankers then get their cut.

American ingenuity and cheap fuel will eventually eliminate the price gap you are worried about.

Not unless Americans are ingenious enough to rid themselves of the people who have ingeniously made arbitrary and capricious regulations which increase the cost of producing, all to end such nonsense as "Climate Change".

The regulators have crushed American industry.

>>Once this cycle starts how do you stop it?<<

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

That is the relevant question.

It MUST start with tariffs against imports.

For many people, this seems almost sacrilegious, because they are brainwashed by the globalists and because Reagan did not take on this issue. He had other fish to fry, but the misguided “Conservatives” and Libertarians forget this.

Nor did they ever understand the economics of the world since Bretton Woods, Nixon’s closing of the gold window and the advent of OPEC (a globalist creation architected by, amongst others, none other than Kissinger).

These and other events set up exactly what you described: a temporary windfall for consumers. But they also set up EVER-INCREASING TRADE and FISCAL DEFICITS.

These deficits were planned. There is absolutely no doubt that the Rockefeller group, represented in the Nixon White House by Kissinger, Volcker (who was a key advisor) and others KNEW EXACTLY WHAT WOULD HAPPEN to AMERICA. It was REQUIRED, in order to set up the world to eventually replace the US Dollar and demote America from its super-power status.

Globalists who KNOWINGLY do this are TRAITORS. The rest are just FOOLS.

In this respect of the need of Americans for productive jobs, Trump may be a truly Christian candidate in accordance with Scripture.

Romans 2:12-15   New American Standard Bible (NASB)

12 For all who have sinned [a]without the Law will also perish [b]without the Law, and all who have sinned [c]under the Law will be judged [d]by the Law; 13 for it is not the hearers [e]of the Law who are [f]just before God, but the doers [g]of the Law will be justified. 14 For when Gentiles who do not have [h]the Law do [i]instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having [j]the Law, are a law to themselves, 15 in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them...
