China and other countries want to sell me goods at a cheap price. Trump wants to put a stop to that in order to appease the visible victim, the angry unemployed widget worker. The invisible victims are much greater in number and any tariff or "fair trade" is awful for them. Who in their right mind complains when something is getting sold at a cheap price?
It is time to put America first and stop Trump from increasing the price Americans pay for foreign goods.

You don’t have to tell me. I’ve got over 30 years in manufacturing (very diverse industries on an ongoing basis) throughout North America.
We have almost 100 million more people in the USA than we did in 1980. We have fewer jobs.
Yeah, I understand technology. There is nothing in those videos that I am not very familiar with. I deal with it daily — shipbuilding, auto manufacturing, aerospace, ..... you name it.
And they make GOOD money!
(It's hard to export THAT job!)

I am in manufacturing plants throughout North America almost every week and I have been for 30 years.
Caterpillar has 18+ plants south of our border now. These plants moved from the USA to Mexico. Thousands of American jobs were lost. I was very familiar with several of their facilities.
GE has several facilities in Mexico now. Americans lost their jobs to cheaper labor and governments that don’t care about the environment or worker safety or security. It is not just technology.
I’ve got a long list of American companies that have closed their plants in the USA and gone to Mexico and elsewhere. I’ve been to so many of them.
I’ve had several opportunities to go to facilities elsewhere in the world but I decided about 20 years ago that I didn’t want to travel outside of North America.
Yes, technology replaces some jobs but there is so much more to the story.
