China and other countries want to sell me goods at a cheap price. Trump wants to put a stop to that in order to appease the visible victim, the angry unemployed widget worker. The invisible victims are much greater in number and any tariff or "fair trade" is awful for them. Who in their right mind complains when something is getting sold at a cheap price?
It is time to put America first and stop Trump from increasing the price Americans pay for foreign goods.
Golly; I wonder why??
But after some forethought I decided it would be much better to insert my concerns into an existing thread.
We need to have the gummint to FORCE Apple to make Iphones here, and them chinks can eat rice!

You don’t have to tell me. I’ve got over 30 years in manufacturing (very diverse industries on an ongoing basis) throughout North America.
We have almost 100 million more people in the USA than we did in 1980. We have fewer jobs.
Yeah, I understand technology. There is nothing in those videos that I am not very familiar with. I deal with it daily — shipbuilding, auto manufacturing, aerospace, ..... you name it.
And they make GOOD money!
(It's hard to export THAT job!)
U.S. farrier salaries In general, working on race and show horses pays more than working on pleasure horses. Standard 8-hour days in urban/rural environments can yield much less than $100,000 year, whereas working on race or show horses can get you much more than $100,000 plus per year. In some cases the wage gap can be as great as $40,000 for pleasure horses to $200,000 or more for race and show horses. An American Farriers Journal survey in 2012 found that the average annual salary for full-time farriers in the U.S. was reported to be $92,623 per year and for part-timers, $21,153. This amount is an average and varies according to experience level, training, etc.
A 2010 survey found that gross income for both full-time and part-time farriers averaged $73,108, a 16 percent increase from 2008, which backs up the figures from the previous survey when averaging out both full-time and part-time salaries.
Capt. Hyperbole just called in.
He said he's told you a million times to quit exaggerating.
Do those figures include cash transactions?
And a supervisor; too!
Old adage: Ya get what ya pay for.
In all m y years working for the US Navy in Indianapolis; I never saw any of this.
Of course; I retired in '95; so perhaps things have changed.
If Jesus came back and read your posts, he’d never stop throwing up. Begone, before somebody drops a house on you.
My aunt used to run the one person phone switchboard in McCordsville IN back in the late '40's.
It was in her house.
(I've no idea if there was an evening shift in a different location.)
I don’t know; Wilburrrrrr.

We miss your biblical spamming. Show everyone how you generally conduct business, you tosser.
How Alex Murphy of you! He must be seething with jealousy in the basement of mommy’s house - sort of like a religious maniacal Adam Lanza.
On the other hand, indeed, I am quite witty and erudite, so why not let people see years of my posts.
P.S.: It is now time for you to call out all your buzzards.
I am in manufacturing plants throughout North America almost every week and I have been for 30 years.
Caterpillar has 18+ plants south of our border now. These plants moved from the USA to Mexico. Thousands of American jobs were lost. I was very familiar with several of their facilities.
GE has several facilities in Mexico now. Americans lost their jobs to cheaper labor and governments that don’t care about the environment or worker safety or security. It is not just technology.
I’ve got a long list of American companies that have closed their plants in the USA and gone to Mexico and elsewhere. I’ve been to so many of them.
I’ve had several opportunities to go to facilities elsewhere in the world but I decided about 20 years ago that I didn’t want to travel outside of North America.
Yes, technology replaces some jobs but there is so much more to the story.
