Mark Levin tonight, on his newly launched LevinTV, announced his support for Ted Cruz, as the next president of the United States.
Levin, said that Cruz supports and fights for the 'Constitution, the Republic, individual sovereignty, separation of powers, the Bill of Rights, family, faith, a secure border, and our national security. '
Levin said that he knows Cruz isn't perfect, but looking at the 'whole picture' and looking at the entire career of Cruz it really is 'a simple decision.'
He went on to say that his support of Cruz isn't because of opposition to Donald Trump, John Kasich, or Marco Rubio. Instead, it is because Cruz understands ‘where this country has been and where it needs to go.’
Levin also said that if Cruz secures the GOP nomination, Cruz would win because facing Hillary he would know how to defeat her and know how to win.

No, he was every Democrat's favorite Republican (to borrow a phrase from Cruz, he's nice and housebroken and polite). They loved him and talked him up big. John Stewart's favorite elephant. Course all that kneecapping of conservatives and bipartisan love fest crap didn't help him at all. As soon as he was the nominee they laid into him (as they did with Romney and will do with Trump). ANY Republican is going to be painted as a puppy-eating baby-rapist that puts kittens in a blender for fun, so trying to reach across the aisle to people that hate us doesn't seem to work to me.
As for the silent majority of conservatives, it seems more like a 40+ percent plurality from what I hear. That's more than self identify as moderate, or as liberal. Yes, one needs to grab Reagan Democrats, but both Cruz AND Trump are vulnerable on that to me. Cruz voted for that crap trade bill, and Trump plays the "jobs Americans won't do" card (like McCain did during the pre Obama amnesty push.). But the main point I'm making is go after the conservatives hardest, they have the largest numbers. Being worried to death about crossover Dems and indies(Romney won indies, big whoop) is what got us in this mess in the first place.

Yeah, that’s why he supports Planned Parenthood, single payer and the Dreamers.
I've heard others express the same sentiment. If Washington had another hundred men at Valley Forge and the all had that attitude we might still be a British Colony. As far as having a Plan B, there's always a Plan B. It's violent, bloody, and destructive, but it's always there.

Good for Mark. Great conservative and great American. I know the tRumpsters will call him names and claim they won’t listen to him again or they haven’t listened to him for years, but Mark is doing the right thing.

I think there's a pretty good chance most of them will stay home. I know some Rubio supporters who can't stand either Trump or Cruz for one reason or another.
Rush never endorses during the primaries. He endorses after the convention. LOL

Exactly. FR is no longer supporting Constitutuionalist conservatives. It has become a Trump cult for the most part and will work to destroy anyone who dos not support him. That includes Thomas Sowell, Mark Levin, Ted Cruz, and anyone else. Something is seriously wrong here. It’s not like Mark is supporting someone with a LONG history of being a NY liberal and financing the campaigns of anti-Constitution liberals FOR DECADES. It is not like Mark is supporting someone who only flipped to being anti-amnesty and pro-2nd Amendment when he started seeking the GOP nomination. It’s not like Mark is supporting someone who supported TARP, the auto bailouts, and Obama’s stimulus. It’s not like Mark is supporting someone who has supported partial-birth abortion in the past and still sings praises to Planned Parenhood and supports federal funding for Planned Parenthood. NO. Mark is supporting someone who has been a constitutional conservative his entire life and has fought for his beliefs. Someone who took the establishment on on their own house and the was ostracized and attacked for it by the establishment and their media shills. It makes no sense that Mark is then attacked on “the premier online gathering place for independent, grass-roots conservatism on the web” for supporting the someone.

You Cruz-bots are so quick to take offense at anyone not worshiping your god that you can’t read and comprehend.
| Levin is a smart guy and a patriot. No question. But one thing I never understood: he hates Michael Savage, another conservative, with a passion. Why is that? After all, Savage is on the same team. And another thing. Why do you not hear the name of a great conservative like Alex Jones on the airwaves of Rush and Levin? Seems to me that there's a fair amount of jealousy of bad blood between some of the radio personalities. |
