my three year old son shot me in the back of the head with a pistol i thought was unloaded.
taught me a lesson, big time about leaving anything like that in his reach. it was, indeed, a water pistol, but one does live and learn.
it could have been so much worse.
child endangerment charges... but should she lose her right to bear arms? no. shall not be infringed.

.........Well, gun accidents do happen all around the country every day but leaving a loaded .45 in the reach of a little boy goes waaaayyyyy beyond “an accident”.
I feel sorry for this obviously fine young woman but she did SCREW UP......................BIGTIME!!!
Hopefully this incident fades from the little boys memory..........forever!

Not a whole lot of details in the article. Range bag perhaps? Under the seat that slid backwards? Purse in the back seat?
What concerns me more is that the child was not strapped in to a seat. Is this a Houdini child? Mine son was. The only thing that worked to keep him in his seat was PAT (pain association therapy) on the butt.
