Donald Trump's Failed Business Ventures Are Back in the Spotlight BY CORKY SIEMASZKO
(snip) Trump has had numerous business successes, like Trump Tower, 40 Wall Street and "The Apprentice." But not every Trump venture turned to gold and the businesses Romney cited were notorious misfires.
Trump University was an online college launched in 2005 that offered to teach the mogul's real estate and entrepreneurship strategies, and charged fees ranging from $1,500 to $35,000. But it was never accredited. In 2013, New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman sued, claiming the university was a scam operation that defrauded around 600 students out of thousands of dollars.
Trump, via his lawyer Michael D. Cohen, denied defrauding anybody and claimed the school had a 98 percent approval rating. He filed a complaint alleging that the AG's office was looking for a campaign contribution.
On the campaign trail, Trump has also claimed that Trump U got an A rating from the Better Business Bureau. The BBB on Tuesday said the school "does not currently have an A rating." "The BB Business Review for this company has continually been 'No Rating' since September 2015," the company said in a statement. "Prior to that, it fluctuated between D- and A+."
When Trump U was running, the BBB "received multiple customer complaints about this business. These complaints affected the Trump University BBB rating, which was as low as D- in 2010."
But after 2013, no new complaints were reported as "the company appeared to be winding down."
"As a result, over time, Trump University's BBB rating went to an A in July 2014 and then to an A+ in January 2015," the BBB said.
Recently, Trump criticized a California judge presiding over another lawsuit against Trump U this one a class-action lawsuit .......

...the same regurgitated feces that have been pushed by Partisan Media Shills on and off FR -- IOW, the only spotlight is continuous party line hack agitprop, it isn't back, it literally never goes away, even on FR....and the businesses Romney cited were...
More behaviors?
- Welfare (”my life choices are detrimental, so others have to pay for it”)
- Progressive taxation (”you earned more than me, so the more you earn the more we take from you under threat”)
- Gun control (”I’m stupid enough to shoot someone for no reason, so you shouldn’t have guns”)
- “White guilt” et al (”you’re doing something successful that I’m not, so hobble yourself down to my level so I can spit on you”)
- Nationalized health insurance / tuition reform / housing subsidies (”I made a stupid choice of demanding services I can’t afford, now you have to pay for it”)
...all of which, and others, fundamentally encouraging the bad behavior in others. Nowhere does the Left say “save money for college; study hard; save money for emergencies; buy only what you can afford; let’s stop making things cost more thru oppressive regulation; etc”.
You said Trump bought the senate and house democrats that gave us Obamacare. What did he get for it?
Like the one about Trumps wife being born in Slovenia and having a very heavy accent.
You know, if you went after government failures like you do Trumps 4 failures you might be considered a conservative.
I’m starting to think half you idiots are leftwing wealth envy trolls.
Yep.
Sports Authority Files For Bankruptcy, Will Close One Third Of Its Stores

Back in 2012 there were a lot of stories that Mitt “saved” these companies by loading them with debt they could never pay back and covering it up with rosy predictions of future growth. They compared it a time bomb. BOOM.
I guess that’s why some of us are die hard supporters of a proven conservative like Ted Cruz.
Cruz is far from a proven conservative, get real.
No one in this race is perfect.
Now, what about Trump over 400 successes?
30k plus jobs he created, or can you only see a few failures?
He’s made and lost and made again more than 99.999% of these reporters ever will in six lifetimes.
The current Trump line up is 500+ organizations. That’s 500 different companies. He has filed for bankruptcy four times.
That’s not a bad average.
Bet no one else can beat that average.
That was kinda one of his points when responding to Romney’s diatribe: _one_store_ that Trump owns is worth nearly 10x Romney’s entire net worth.
And that one store is just one tiny entry on Trump’s net-worth balance sheet.
