NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) Singer Joey Feek of the country duo Joey and Rory has died after a long battle with cervical cancer.
Joey, 40, passed away around 2:30 p.m. Friday in her hometown of Alexandria, Indiana.

Such a beautiful woman, both inside and out. Her daughter has down syndrome, she gave that child life, she is an inspiration to us all..RIP Joey, you are in heaven with God no longer in pain
RIP. Condolences to her husband and family.
So sad. See the song she sings:”When I’m Gone” & it will tear you all up.....and she sang that before she got cancer. Talk about prophetic. RIP.
Bless her soul. Prayers up for her family.

RIP
Sad.
He’s right, when someone you love has suffered that greatly and for so long, you are grateful to see them out of their pain, and their passing is so much easier. You appreciate what a blessing it is. May the whole family that has inspired so many be well comforted thought their sorrow.
It was the same when my mom passed. We were relieved that she was no longer in pain.
