Schneiderman: Trump University Fraud 'Pretty Straightforward'

Schneiderman: Trump University Fraud 'Pretty Straightforward' by Chris Isidore @CNNMoney March 4, 2016: New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman said that evidence of the fraud perpetrated by Trump University is "pretty straightforward." "It [was] a bait and switch scheme," he said on CNN's New Day Friday, defending his and other lawsuits against the school. "He did ads saying my hand-picked instructors will teach you my personal secrets. You just copy what I did and get rich."

But Schneiderman said evidence in the case makes clear that Trump was not involved in hiring instructors, and that he didn't create the program's curriculum.

"If you tell people we're going to teach you Donald Trump's secrets, and he never had any part in writing the curriculum, that's fraud," Schneiderman said.

Schneiderman said thousands of students paid millions of dollars to the school, which closed in 2010. While the attorney general's suit is a civil suit rather than a criminal action, Trump could face millions in fines, Schneiderman said.

"This is the equivalent of putting up a sign that says Trump Hospital, when it's not, and the people in it aren't nurses and doctors," he said.

So straight forward it has languished in the courts for 5 plus years.

Digging from the bottom of the barrel are we?

"Trump Vodka" was less of a lie even if it too went broke. The purchaser would at least get drunk on it. Setting up a educational institution, calling it a "university" when nothing is accredited is also part of the fraud. Still, when it comes to fraud, Trump’s got bigger scams planned.

Was it even that? Seems like it was more of a never-ending sales pitch than anything else.

It is a straightforward fraud case.

Will there be an indictment in 16 or 24 business hours?

Better Business Bureau: Donald Trump Right on ‘A’ Rating

Your being totally dishonest by posting that since AAA gives that rating based on complaints in the last three years and Trump University has been closed since 2010.

Bwahahahaha nice try. Now do a search on the BBB rating for Trump University. D-

Donnie was forced to change the name. He pumped up the reviews of the initial one day seminar by suggesting to participents that if the gave good reviews they might get a cut in future costs of other courses.

They then shut down.

So for 5 years the BBB gathered feedback and gave tRump University a d-. They change their name and use propaganda to get a higher rating for a period of months before the close the scam down.

It’s gonna all come out in Trial...ALL 3 Trials.

Meanwhile, nobody cares about anything Hillary Clinton is all about.

Yikes!

“IOWs it is a nuisance suit.”

Probably not just a nuisance lawsuit to the people that were ripped off.

So the Uniparty is all focused on Trump University and twiddling their thumbs about Hillary exposing our national security to our enemies - doing many times over what others have been convicted for.

I don’t believe anything they say. NOTHING!

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman

This is one of the reasons our Justyice sytem is garbage these day. A prosecutor, holding an pliotical popstion is allowed to lie and slander and no one gets to call him to account.

How do we know if anything he says is true? And no matter what he says, there is no way to hold them accountabe

FOX NEWS should make a public apology to TRUMP for Megan Kelley’s inquisition into the details of Trump University during last night’s debate. TRUMP was not allowed to make the case that Trump University recently received an A rating.

FOX NEWS: Fair & Balanced? NOT

Got it. Cruzites now will accept the accusation of a Leftist Democrat AG without question because it appears to offer a temporary political advantage to them

Is Team Cruz just too stupid to realize these tactics will be used AGAINST them next if they grant these sort of tactics validty now?

How much has trump spent on making it languish?
I’m not saying he has, but he’s a rich guy that likes to get his way. Admitting fraud, and paying off the people who filed suite would be just that, hurts the trump brand.

It’s a big business tactic that should surprise no one. It’s a smart way to do business. Make it too costly to pursue in court and they’ll just give up or run out of money. Chrysler tried this with my parents ages ago when one of their cars caught fire for no reason while my mom was driving down the road. They failed to pay off the judge.

Pay a judge a little here and a little there, donate to a campaign or PAC that will help him out a little bit... Its how things get done, or in this case, its how things go away.

Calling it criminal fraud is what is going to get some of these morons in trouble It may not have been a good school, but was there INTENT to commit fraud? Or was it a good idea that went bad?

Did Barney Madoff at first intend to commit fraud, or when he saw how easy it would be to get money is when he did?

So throwing the legal “Concept of innocent until proven guilty” out the window because doing so seems to offer you a temporary political advancement is an example of your notions of “Reason and rational thought”?

If you wish to see the “cultists” around here children, you need only look in the mirror.
