Trump won the debate with Kasich tied. Trump prevails because he was forced to debate 3 moderators who had coordinated with Mitt Romney, who had done his share a few brief hours earlier. He also had to debate 3 candidates, one of whom was independent and the other 2 clearly hitching to the Romney bandwagon.
1. Trump A-
2. Kasich A-
3. Cruz B
4. Rubio - F
I. Fox moderators have stated they spend huge amount of time and analysis preparing their questions.
Then they got down to business, talking through questions. The moderators have spent weeks writing (and rewriting) about 100 potential questions, roughly half of which will actually be asked. Though they have eight to 10 broad topics they plan to raise, including immigration and the economy, the moderators found themselves working down to the wire to refine their questions and think through smart follow-ups.
Every day I spend a fair amount of time on my iPhone tightening them, redoing them, refining them, further researching them, bolstering them, eliminating them, and starting anew on some, Ms. Kelly said.
II. One caveat to this process is 'late breaking news'.
Bill Sammon, vice president for news and Washington managing editor, urged the group to keep in mind two additional types of queries: timely ones off late-breaking news and ones we might have missed..
III. So, leaving their carefully scripted questions they have agonized over, the moderators picked up LAST MINUTE orchestrated attempt to INFLUENCE the debate, AND they made it the headliner in their questioning of only one candidate.
IV. Likewise, two other candidates took their cues from the Romney attempt to influence and hung their responses on that same intrusion by a failed former candidate.
V. Trump was hit with this at the last minute on a debate day. One has to truly admire his ability to deal with it.
VI. Fox committed journalistic bigotry by coordinating their questions with an obviously bitter, partisan attack.
1. Trump, A-....For the above reasons and for still being standing, Trump wins the first half of the debate.
2. Kasich, A-...Kasich refused to participate in the Romney attack and in the moderator instigated attacks. Additionally, his answers were very substantial. His response to the Flint water crisis was truly a response from an experienced man. His reminder that he actually worked with Ronald Reagan was another home run. Kasich wins 2nd half of the debate.
3. Cruz, B...Cruz gave some good responses on the legal system about which he is very knowledgeable. He made no real stumbles except his using the Romney coordinated attack.
4. Rubio, F-....Rubio called for an all-out war with full commitment of our troops in the middle east. It went by unnoticed. The guy fancies himself a Little Napoleon.
Not Romney, Ryan and McConnell are running the ‘Stop Trump’ effort.
Ryan flew out to Utah to give Romney his orders last weekend.

CNN has learned that House Speaker Paul Ryan had a private dinner with Mitt Romney in Salt Lake City Utah last weekend h/t @deirdrewalshcnn
Priebus should be fired, right now.
Absolutely does. Fox News relentlessly claims "Fair and Balanced". "We Report you decided". That is a claim they have willingly and knowing violated in every Fox News debate so far this season.

And the GOP is a damn fool for letting the press moderate these debates. It’s all about ratings and ad dollars for these idiots. There should be moderators from outside the press, people that actually do not have a dog in the fight but the GOP will not go for that.
Rubio brought up the hands and penis size issue. It was all over the news and replayed continually when it happened.
And Trump responds to it and he’s the bad guy?
ALL of the news organizations PLAY Rubio saying it and never comment, and don’t worry about crudeness on TV, BUT when Trump responds, suddenly he is taken to task for responding to Rubio’s crudeness?
Not only that. “Journalist” Megan lied. Sorry you don’t get to have your fact wrong when you are on a national debate state pretending to be a Moderator Ms Kelly.
Better Business Bureau: Trump Right on A Rating Mostly
Are you serious?
Romney’s NIECE gave out the tickets?
That is ANOTHER pre-debate bit of partisanship by the RNC.
I can’t believe that a party hoping to win allows their own candidates to be humilitated in public by an obviously bigoted inquisition.
Quote:
“Priebus should be fired, right now.”
Been saying that for 4 long years. But the GOPe run things. We, the voters, need to sit down and shut up. That’s the Republican Party platform this election.
GOP 2016 Bumper Stickers - Order Yours Today:
“Sit Down And Shut-Up” “The People Vote - And We Decide”
So in your mind what is important is the number of checks..... not the fact that he gave money to Hildabeast??
Can’t really argue with that.
With all the talk of brokering the convention and inserting another candidate I am surprised when asked if they would support the Republican nominee none of them added the caveat “yes, as long as it is someone currently on the stage”
It’s just more Psychological Warfare from a corrupt, Crony-Capitalist Media. The Ruling Class is going to let you “vote” for Hillary Clinton and whatever designated Republican loser they choose. And you’re going to like it.
Kelly tripled down on her “D-” rating from the Better Business Bureau.
Immediately after the debate we’re greeted by PROOF that she was grossly wrong or she lied.
Trump has an A from BBB
And the only question is that he was given an A+ at one point.
Bingo! This point needs to be repeated. Trump should expkain this and hold press conferences instead of attending debates.
Trump gave twice as much money to Republicans.
He said he was a businessman and that it wasn’t about politics; it was about a practical acceptance of reality for a huge business.
It sounded like the goon squad was making it up on the fly to me.
They had put their questions together and they had to sound as if they’d pulled them off within a few hours after Romney spoke.
Either way, the clearly used a partisan as a launching pad for their questioning of a candidate.
Will they do the same if an ‘anti-Rubio’ politician makes an announcement a few hours before a debate?
The “debate” was an embarrassment to embarrassments everywhere. FOX SUX.
