The coverage of Trump is so lopsided that it’s impossible to deny any more.
...The problem isn’t that Trump is getting the coverage. Supporters of Trump no doubt see statistics like this and argue that he’s the front-runner and therefore deserves lots of coverage. This is true. But what Trump’s supporters either don’t understand or simply don’t care about is why he is getting it.
...CBS chief executive Leslie Moonves explained it in blunter terms to the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference in San Francisco (as The Hollywood Reporter originally reported): “It may not be good for America, but it’s damn good for CBS.”
Moonves elaborated even more on what Trump’s rise means for his network. The Hollywood Reporter wrote:
Moonves called the campaign for president a “circus” full of “bomb throwing,” and he hopes it continues. “Most of the ads are not about issues. They’re sort of like the debates,” he said.
“Man, who would have expected the ride we’re all having right now?#…#The money’s rolling in and this is fun,” he said. “I’ve never seen anything like this, and this is going to be a very good year for us. Sorry. It’s a terrible thing to say. But, bring it on, Donald. Keep going,” said Moonves. “Donald’s place in this election is a good thing,”
“There’s a lot of money in the marketplace,” the exec said of political advertising so far this presidential season.
...Trump supporters who believe their candidate is the anti-establishment destroyer of media are being conned, and the con is being perpetrated by the people they hate the most — the Clintonistas of network media.

Gnat Review is just jealous. Every media outlet is profiting from the Trump phenomenon, except for them because they actually managed to lose subscribers in their efforts to destroy Trump.

The vast majority of campaign financing is spent on the media and the media is in it for the money. It has become incestuous.
Trump supporters are not giving cbs the money so in the context of this argument they are not getting conned. It is the regular big gop donors who are flushing their money down the toilet and the trump supporters are finding this funny too. As always, these big media people almost get it right then draw a politically correct and logically flawed conclusion.
Their offices must reside on arrogance avenue.
If you see it’s an article from them, you don’t even have to waste time reading it. The butt hurt and TDS is strong with these people.
The National Review has done itself terrible damage by the absolute despicable treatment of Trump and his supporters. They are literally warring against America.

Funny, reading the article, I found Les Moonves’ words much more interesting, and straight forward than Stephen Miller’s drivel.
To start off FU moonves...The sentence that stated they...”THEY” are grooming a republican candidate that hillary can beat is just pure BS...these people need a reality slap. Cable $ is waning and they need online traffic...just to get ads that no one pays attention to ...moonves is a punk and self-absorbed in circle jerk of cash from donors to cbs so cbs and othe letter networks will hire these blathering D.C. idiots to be presenters/newscasters...to finish FU moonves.
Very well done. You’ve identified that Trump, the leader, has spent the least amount of advertising money and that the losers are the ones who are shoveling their cash at Moonves, CBS, and other media outlets. To Moonves and his henchmen this election business is all about nothing but venality; not freedom, not liberty, not justice. But this, too, is a good thing because it’s draining the coffers of the losers allowing Trump and the good guys to build their campaign war chests for the onslaught that is sure to happen in the run-up to the election in November.

Look around. EVERY body is trashing Trump or defending him. MAYBE if the Hate Trump Always squad had bothered to try back in Oct-Nov making a case FOR their candidates instead of just spending all their time trashing Trump they might of gotten some media attention away from Trump.

Something I like to point out whenever the media talks about “money in politics”, is that they are crying crocodile tears about it. After all, who is the primary beneficiary of all this money they are whining about? The media. One reason they’ve been hating on Trump is that he know how to play the media game so well that his expenditures are almost nothing. He can generate a 24 hour media frnzy with a single tweet. It must drive them crazy.
