Politicians insisting that the latest Islamic jihad attack has nothing to do with Islam have become a familiar feature of the mainstream media landscape, but last Saturday, Boston Police Commissioner William B. Evans went them all one better.
Speaking at the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center, Evans declared: We're all Muslims deep down. We all yearn for peace.
Evans thus went farther than Barack Obama, John Kerry, David Cameron, and all the other Western politicians who insist that Islam is a religion of peace. For Evans, Islam is not just a religion of peace, but the religion of peace: to be a Jew, a Christian, a Hindu, a Buddhist, or an atheist would not make one yearn for peace.
This is taking pandering to dizzying new heights, and that wasn't all: this wasn't the police commissioner's first visit to the Islamic Society of Boston. He went there last December - right after two Muslims murdered fourteen people at a Christmas party in San Bernardino. He made that visit in order to make sure that the local Muslims werent jittery after that attack:
The police commissioner spoke at Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center, the same site 0mama recently presented a speech. Seems we know where the snakes den lies.
Unfortunately there are way too many people in this country who believe as this idiot does. Islam is a peaceful religion.
Meet Mayor Martin J. Walsh
Martin J. Walsh, a proud product of the City of Boston, was sworn in as the Citys 54th mayor on January 6, 2014.
Before taking office, Mayor Walsh served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1997 to 2013 where he was
a leader on civil rights, promoting high quality development and career opportunities for women and people of color and played a key role defending Massachusetts pioneering stand on marriage equality.
He is a recovering alcoholic, with eighteen years of continuous recovery in a twelve-step program .
This guy is full of it. He needs to step down. He's probably pouring himself whiskies for lunch and all during the evenings.

Worshipers applaud efforts to distance city from anti-Islam rallies held across US this weekend

It was a coincidence that Mayor Martin J. Walsh picked Friday to fulfill a promise to attend a prayer service at New Englands largest mosque, but the symbolism of the timing was not lost on the mayor or the thousand worshipers seated elbow-to-elbow on the carpeting.
With coordinated anti-Islam rallies planned elsewhere this weekend, Walsh joined leaders of the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center in distancing Boston from the so-called Global Rally for Humanity.
Theres a lot of demonstrations going on around the world and in the United States, but it is important for all of you to understand that your city supports you, Walsh said, as applause filled the sunlit sanctuary.
A call came up in Arabic from a corner of the room: Takbir! Arabic for praise God.
Allahu Akbar! the crowd replied. God is greatest.
We in Boston stand together, said Walsh, his cap-toe dress shoes respectfully stashed in the corner.
Walsh greeted the congregants with As-salaam Alaikim peace to you
Walsh said the Islamic prayer service reminded him of the Catholic Mass he attended regularly with his mother as a child.
Boston is really a city thats been built on diversity, he said.
Thanks MarvinS.
Aid and comfort ...
I’m not a goat-humper moozlum. I don’t have any desire to chop off the heads of people who disagree with me.
Where’s his facial hair? He’s an obvious apostate!
Muslim-Loving Boston Police Commissioner William B. Evans
.
Main character in classis German silent horror movie Nosefrau (1922).
Rather an odd looking fellow for a cop, but I guess it is Boston.
I’m a Bald Eagle deep down.
That’s a very good cartoon. Sometimes a picture really does paint a thousand words. Look at all of the attention given to a little old lady while Satan at the gate is ignored.
Bttt!
