Meet Mayor Martin J. Walsh

Martin J. Walsh, a proud product of the City of Boston, was sworn in as the Citys 54th mayor on January 6, 2014.
Before taking office, Mayor Walsh served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1997 to 2013 where he was
a leader on civil rights, promoting high quality development and career opportunities for women and people of color and played a key role defending Massachusetts pioneering stand on marriage equality.
He is a recovering alcoholic, with eighteen years of continuous recovery in a twelve-step program .
This guy is full of it. He needs to step down. He's probably pouring himself whiskies for lunch and all during the evenings.
Thanks MarvinS.
