I wish marco and trump would comment on this. Probably be a barrel of laughs
Sad, though expected I suppose. The original Wizard Of Oz was and still is a very cherished childhood memory for me in many different ways. My wife didn’t understand until I told her this was the movie I was watching the last time I spent time with my grandparents.

Bit parts!? A short joke!
You MUST watch The Terror of Tiny Town if you have not already.
Is he merely dead or is he most sincerely dead?
Rest in Peace.
Sad to hear as the very last surviving cast member of “Wizard” has left the scene. The end of an era. RIP, Mr. Maren.
RIP
R.I.P. Mr. Maren, and thanks for the memories.
RIP.
The Wizard of Oz is a great film.
probably replaced by an illegal or a foreign midget brought in via H1-B
Interesting, I just saw this thread a couple minutes ago while I’m watching a show on the Decades show with Bill Curtis that spends few minutes on each of the Academy Award winners from the 1930s and 40s. They just spoke about gathering midgets from all over the world as part of the filming of Oz.
Well, I would assume that wraps it up for the cast Wizard of Oz.
Gone with the Wind and The Wizard of Oz were both released the same year. Gone with the Wind still has two living actors, so by a score of two to nothing they win!
The Examiner article states that reports of his death may be erroneous.
