Donald Trumps distinctive rhetorical style think of a drunk with a bullhorn reading aloud James Joyces Finnegans Wake under water poses an almost insuperable challenge to people whose painful duty is to try to extract clarity from his effusions. For example, last week, during a long stream of semi-consciousness in Fort Worth, this man who as president would nominate members of the federal judiciary vowed to open up libel laws to make it easier to sue to intimidate and punish people who write negative things. Well. Trump, the thin-skinned tough guy, resembles a campus crybaby who has wandered out of his safe space.
Trump is a presidential aspirant who would flunk an eighth-grade civics exam. More than anything Marco Rubio said about Trump in Houston, it was Rubios laughter at Trump that galled the perhaps bogus billionaire. Like all bullies, Trump is a coward, and like all those who feel the need to boast about being strong and tough, he is neither....

Find it odd that the “Principled Conservatives” now have adopted the same political tactics Conservatives have spent the last 40 year fighting tooth and nail against.
I won’t condemn his supporters too far. A little. I do think history will be VERY hard on them.
I predict your post will be deleted. Not much that is negative toward Trump is making the cut today.
“Donald Trump’s distinctive rhetorical style think of a drunk with a bullhorn reading aloud James Joyce’s Finnegans Wake under water poses an almost insuperable challenge to people whose painful duty is to try to extract clarity from his effusions.”
Now, go diagram that sentence, Homer.
And Will is an arrogant, elitist, and pompous ass that is what caused the rise of Trump.
i’m not a Trump supporter, but...
i’d just like to take this moment to tell George Will to shut his nerdy piehole.
Conservatives have been fighting against criticism of politicians? I thought that was the left doing that.
You guys are like the proverbial turd in the punch bowl. Pissing in the wheaties. ect.
“Trump is a buffoon, and his endorsers, like his supporters, will come to regret this epic lapse of judgement.”
Most won’t. They’re too committed. There are still some 2008 BHO backers that will insist his presidency has been a success despite the glaring evidence to the contrary
George Will is rapidly becoming irrelevant.
It is about time.
Trump is the only effective advocate millions of American citizens have had in years .....too many years.
George Will is an embarrassment.
LOL....George Will and National RINOview are the albatross of the GOP.
Lie down with the dogs, people are going to notice the fleas.
You all made your bed, now you can lie in it. You all thought this rabid personal attack style postings were the way to go despite being warned that you needed to be making a case FOR something not just scream about what you hate.
Will is a moderate. But in my view he is far more conservative than Trump. Anyway, like him or not, it does not mean he is automatically wrong.
Or like the Cruz supoporters who can’t accept that it is over.

Exactly. A thread about Trump’s “un-disavowal” of his Duke/KKK disavowal just got zotted. Guess we’d best keep any anti-Trump sentiments under wraps for a while.
OMG! The National Review has published an article by a self important Inside the Beltway, out of touch, imperious, gasbag that’s critical of Donald Trump. Oh no...I guess I can’t vote for him now!
There is no rabid personal attack style posting. It is criticism. That’s how you vet candidates. Trump is not above criticism.
I support Trump to spite people like George Will.
