One of the most amazing abilities Donald Trump has is being able to lie about his own record and get away with it. In an exchange with Sen. Ted Cruz during Thursday’s CNN debate in Houston, Trump was directly challenged on his past documented support for single-payer universal health care, and he lied again. As TheBlaze recorded the exchange:

Which is why they all like him so much they started backing Rubio (to split the non-Trump vote) when it became obvious Jeb was going nowhere past the single digits.
If Cruz was in their pocket, they'd have backed him, but it turns out they can play 'Let's Make a Deal' with Trump and Cruz is far more likely to stand on principle.

seems like you busted a Trump campaigner with a dirty trick. If this was the other way and some little nobody on Ted’s campaign did this, Trump would be harping about it in the next debate.
from the beginning of people claiming to represent the TEA party, who are these people and why do they claim to speak for us when we are simply a bunch of ticked off Americans?
I have no TEA party leader, but I have am every bit a TEA Party American and I do not trust nor will I vote for the charlatan that is jetting around the nation making a mockery of conservatives. He is a New York democrat at heart and will often show those spots in the future to your dismay.
Cruz is not part of the GOPe.
Sadly, I agree with him that Rubio is better than Trump. Rubio is awful, but he is much more conservative than Trump. It stinks. I know. But, that is the fact.

For some reason Trump didn't show up.
He has tons of money and has done some great things. Good for him.
