"Data from the Federal Election Commission and state elections offices provided by the two websites show that Trump has given $584,850 to Democrats and $961,140 to the GOP over the last 26 years." (this is at the Federal level and does not include state or local)

I hope to be not as cynical as some about how you donate to politicians. It’s not always rigged, I hope there are a few that treat donations as just that, they support my views and votes.

Trump is a businessman. He has “500” companies under his Trump brand. It would be a negligent CEO if he did not have his fingers on the pulse of legislation that would negatively impact his and many other businesses. So, to be heard effectively he donates to those that wield power in DC.

By doing so, he maintains profitability in the various business sets he has. Hotels, Resorts, Golf etc. He has properties ALL OVER the world and his staff is probably the most knowledgeable about economic conditions in each country.

Trump is a highly successful businessman. He has smart people about him, although as we see, he doesn’t always listen to his team since HE is the Boss. He won’t pass the buck like most others.

Nothing else really matters if the US economy is in the crapper. People having good paying jobs heals many societal wounds. The asshat GOPe and every filthy stinkin’ liberal of any stripe are just too stupid crazy with “power” to understand that.

Trump doesn’t HAVE to run for President. He WANTS it. He has the fire in the belly as they say and carries himself more as a firebrand and true maverick full of real confidence that he can do the job, because that’s what he does. He gets shit done.

PS: If he can afford three wives then even he’s even more of a stud.

“I have seen the system first hand as it currently works .... it’s all “pay to play” with the politicians, from the county level on up.”

You got it. What does a homeowner need to remodel a kitchen - a permit. A permit is nothing more than a legalized payoff to some fat, clueless bureaucrat so you can add windows, install plumbing to a kitchen island and expand the working space from 14-feet to 20-feet.

This kind of crap happens because so-called conservatives sit on their fat asses and never challenge local governments on this kind of legalized bribery. And spare me the argument that government inspections are needed to make certain the work was done right. There are private inspectors who can be hired. Plus small claims courts are available to sue contractors who don’t fulfill the remodeling contract.

Honest Question about Trump to Trump Lovers

Class, this is what is known as being passive aggressive.

It allows the person who is actually trying to start the fight to bewail their complete innocence.

And only a mean racist bigot sexist homophobe would point out what they are doing

Let's say you run a business and you have to pay off the authorities in order to do business. It's the only way to get preferential or even fair treatment. Let's say it's just the way business is done and the only way anyone even gets to play the game is to play along. And let's say you have become wealthy to the point where you no longer need to play the game but you see how rigged it is for everyone else.

So one day you wake up and say "Screw this! I am going to become the authority! I don't need their favors or protection. I am in the position to do what I want with or without their approval. And what I want to do is tear down this unfair system".

Better now, bro?

Like I said after looking at Burt Reynold’s tax returns in the early 80’s I’ve seen it all. LOL! The guy was rolling in income. BUT it did not show net worth. That’s where the audited financials come in. And Trump has already submitted that.

“Did he begin his business with a loan or an inheritance, and what was the amount of the loan or inheritance?”

Donald Trump ‘started out with $1m loan’ from father
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-34641129

Assuming the current net worth is $10 billion, Donald C. Trump would have repaid the $1 million and increased the net worth ten thousand times; i.e.
($1 million x 10,000 = $10 billion).

“Can someone who really likes Trump help me understand. Thanks.”

Okay, I got this one...............

Try to follow along. “ Would you like your President to be someone that has taken money from a foreign ruler, or a lobbyist group, or an organization of any kind of special interest?” When career politicians do this sort of thing, they are expected to kick-back some sort of special favor in order to repay their marker to what or whoever gave them the money with strings attached. Now, if I choose to give my local school system a tax deferred contribution, which is allowed by the Tax Laws, than, that is my choice to not stand by and allow the Government the opportunity to waste my Tax Dollar on what I consider to be fraud. (My Opinion Here) It’s my choice.......I can choose to direct my Tax Dollars to a specific school or organization that is allowed by the Tax Code/Laws. Who are you or anyone to question my choice as to doing what is perfectly legal? On the other hand...........if I’m running for President, and some foreign / lobby group / private interest / group gives me money with the understanding that they will call their “Marker” in at a time when they need a political favor..........Then that’s not good for the American People to show favor to any special interest for monetary rewards. Trump has funded his entire campaign himself. He owes nothing to anyone. He answers to nobody. People trust him to do the right thing for the better good of the Country. Again........Nobody holds a Marker over Trump. Nobody can ever claim ....”Hey, we gave you this money with the agreement from you to grant us special favors.” If Trump doesn’t show any partiality with his donations, or Tax Choices, then that’s OK WITH ME. I would much rather have a President that isn’t on the take for Political Favors than have a President that owes millions of dollars to foreign interests or special Lobby groups etc., To thy own self be True and speak freely. If / When Trump wins the Election and becomes President...........he did it on his terms. Honest and Truth .
HOPE THIS HELPS. AND YES HE WILL BE A WASHINGTON OUTSIDER.

Exactly.

They just don’t get it.

If you look at Advisor and see that almost every property has 4+ ratings.

I would love to try Vegas but he doesn’t have a casino in the house.

Why are you trying to make a connection between Cruz and Amnesty .. and then you say you’re supporting Cruz?

I don’t get it.

I’m still supporting Cruz, BECAUSE I KNOW HE IS NOT FOR AMNESTY.

Hilarious. Senator Cruzman Sachs is cashing $10 million donor checks and has a Super PAC accepting millions in anonymous, money laundered donations. But really it’s TRUMP who has no ethics and is buying supporters. LOL.
