A new batch of studies confirming the close relationship between global temperature and ocean level finds that seas are rising at the fastest rate since nearly 1000 BC.

Don’t forget Trofim Lysenko - the granddaddy of these hucksters.

GORE’S GLOBAL FLATLULENCE CAUSES OCEANS TO SWELL!
What started this swelling 2800 years ago? Global warming from camel gas? Why not go back 2900 years to see what happened then? Or 3500 years? Or whatever?
This is all lies.
It’s good we have Google to fact check these liars.
Why does Google work so well?
in 1998 Larry Page invented Page Rank which is what makes Google work so well. To me that is the borderline between truth and lies. There is the age of lies Before Page Rank before Google and after Google when we have a chance to finally find out truth.
Indeed - liars use statistics and statistics lie as the saying goes.
Swelling Water isn’t that called Ice ?
The oceans are rising by 0.002 inches per year which is far faster than the 0.0005 inches per year 2800 years ago. On the other hand, I visited the Pilgrim’s Plymouth Rock recently and it does not seem to have changed level over the last several decades
All satellites have special sensors on board that detect the rise in the atmosphere and then the satellite corrects for this rise by shielding the earth from the sun’s rays thereby cooling the atmosphere. If that doesn’t work, then the satellite just flies higher. :)
Justice for Doggerland!
The correct and scientific term for this is Global Oceanic Destruction (GOD). But, we are still all doomed.
One tree can absorb 48 pounds of carbon dioxide/year, and a ton of CO2 over 40 years.

It's estimated that each person produces just under 2 pounds of CO2/day. There are a lot of sources that produce CO2, and a lot of places CO2 gets taken out of the atmosphere. The science is likely much more complex than the computer modeling reflects. If computer modeling were that good, and could be applied to all complex biological systems, drug development would be a lot cheaper, because you wouldn't have to do clinical trials. Except, you do.
Now that's funny, but it's how the left actually think.
From Salon:
This is call experimental bias. That is the experimenter knows what they (he/she/it) want to prove and devises the results to confirm preexisting bias. Double blind experiments are supposed to take these biases out of the process.
The Ocean’s pregnant?
It's just water weight. Honest.
One way to lower the sea level would be to turn the Qattara Depression in Egypt back into an inland sea. It is already an area covered by salt pans, sand dunes and salt marshes.
To turn this back into an inland sea, one would need to dig a canal from the depression to the Mediterranean sea. That would be a distance of about 80 km but if dug wide enough, would allow for sea shipping into northern Africa, opening up new trade routes. Based on recent Suez canal dredging, I estimate that the could would be about $5 Billion US.
It also would bring much needed water to north Africa, increasing available moisture and rain fall.

I’m still waiting for THE BIG ONE from California.
Where can you go,
When there’s no San Francisco?
Better get ready to
tie up the boat in Idaho!”
