Ted Cruz is in the showroom talking to customers looking to buy a car when Trump walks in.
“Not nearly as cunning as you evidently think. When you are writing that kind of thing, you are supposed to keep your audience in a state of expectant surprise and resolve it with a punchline. You did not. Extremely tedious.
I never finished it.”
According to you the punchline is supposed to come at the end. You didn’t finish reading it, then complained there is no punchline. How would you know?
And that is why the trump supporters hate it.
If they both sold cars.... in a couple of years Trump would be charged in a RICO case.
It is a Rolls. The Double R Hubcaps are a dead give away.
lol
It stank cause it’s true and you are in love with Trump.
Depressing isn’t it.
Cruz would sell cars at a loss, but make it up in volume.;-)
One is easy to imagine, the other is not.
Net even. Boorrrring.
Trump can handle the specs on a $100 million building but not on a cheap sedan?
That’s good. I hope you are wearing combat gear because Trumpistas are not going to like it. We live in the theater of the absurd.
I love the way “The Donald” has stirred the pot and made sure the PC Police could not stifle the discussions that we needed for this election.
I love the way that Cruz was fighting amnesty legislation with very little help in the Senate, along with doing a lot of other things that made him disliked and even hated by his colleagues.
I love the way Brooklyn Attitude has captured the essence of the campaign so far, in this humorous allegory - Cruz as a car salesman, and Trump as a blowhard.
I hate the way that BOTH sides of this competition have decided to hate each other. Many from both sides would probably not vote if the other side’s candidate wins. Why? because they have worked themselves up into a such a lather that their pride will not let them. They cannot stand to be wrong.
There is ample evidence that neither of these guys is just perfect. If either of them were, I think many in this back-and-forth might call for his crucifixion. It’s happened before.
What I’d like to know is, why won’t either side admit the obvious? “My guy” is not perfect.
Cruz leaves something to be desired in his bed-side manner, and his judgement of those who are helping him. If they truly engaged in “dirty tricks” (Carson, Iowa) then he should have taken decisive action and offered one delegate to Carson. I’m disappointed he didn’t do that.
Trump seems to have nothing to say except that people who don’t agree with him are stupid. Or losers. Or sad. If you can’t see that, you are not looking. He may be great, but I’m not convinced.
Now - you probably think you know who I’m pulling for. You might. But I doubt it, unless you’ve picked up on it from other threads. If you are certain that you know, just from the tone of my comments here - you are part of the problem. I’ve been posting here since before Satan’s minions ran planes into the towers, and I’ve never seen such divisive, nasty posts as I have lately.
All of you who call names and make accusations of other Freepers should be ashamed of yourselves. But you go right ahead and call me names if you want. I’m grown up enough to take it without responding.
You are incorrect. My 12-year old could have written this. And better.
Have you heard any details from Trump regarding any of his “greatest” ideas?
Why? Who would you rather have selling cars for you, Trump or Cruz? duhh....Trump.
“Thatâs good. I hope you are wearing combat gear because Trumpistas are not going to like it. We live in the theater of the absurd.”
Since I was a kid I’ve spent most of my life openly conservative in New York State. I have been called every name in the book and subjected to physical attacks because of it. I’ve grown a pretty thick skin.
A Bently is a British luxury car just a bit below a Rolls-Royce. I think it’s the same company and the Rolls-Bentley relationship is like Cadillac-Buick, except much nicer of course.
