Who should I vote for?

Posted on 02/23/2016 7:10:02 AM PST by 2nd Amendment

I've got a dilemna here. I've been a Cruz supporter for several years. I feel firmly that Trump is a disaster waiting to happen. Is Rubio a better antitrump candidate than Cruz? Should I shift my primary vote March 1 in GA. to Rubio because he has a better chance of defeating Cruz. I believe Cruz is a good christian conservative and Rubio is a younger Reagan. Which one should I vote for?

Read about Rubio's disgraceful treatment of ICE agents, and then make the right call.

Rubio - disgraceful treatment of ICE agents.

Rubio - Gang of Eight sellout. Ask the people of Florida.

Rubio - The GOPe's choice and currently being pushed 24/7 by FOX and the rest of the MSM.

Rubio - Wants to be the first Hispanic President. That's all. Nothing will change in Washington D.C. He'll be puddy in Schumer and Reid's hands. He'll 'work across the aisle' and do whatever they want.

Rubio - Talks way to fast and the sweating thing. Drugs?

I would go with the Constitutional Conservative Cruz if you've ruled out Trump. . or go to Donald Trump Policy Positions and see if you agree with any of them.

IMHO Cruz cannot win the General Election. Cruz disgraceful treatment of Dr. Carson and firing a staff member for a campaign lie are indications he is trying to save face, not win anymore, because he cannot.

I like Rubio and he certainly sounds presidential. But promises, grandiose speech and few accomplishments ala gang of 8 precludeds me from voting for him in the primary. He will make a great VP, Carson for Surgeon General and I bet Giuliani is attorney general.

TRUMP has the ability and knowledge of a businessman to make the decisions to put us into financial prosperity. Specifics, check his web site.

No matter, I must vote Republican in Nov.

The Dems have a more difficult choice, “The Crook” or
“The Commie”? Just my opinion.

That is so funny... Ted Nugent NRA Board Member's Take on Trump

National Rifle Association board member Ted Nugent heaped praise on Donald Trump and Ted Cruz in a Newsmax TV interview published the same day Nugent wrote on Facebook that Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama "should be tried for treason & hung." During an interview posted online by Newsmax TV on January 20, Nugent expressed admiration for Trump, and said a lot of people have "celebrated" that "Donald Trump is as close to Ted Nugent as you are going to get in politics." Nugent added, "I like Donald Trump because he is bold and he is treating the culture war as the culture war that it is."

I work in the financial services industry. News flash: our industry is not fundamentally different than any other industry. Yes we have some bad apples, and yes they make the rest of us look bad. But do we condemn all police officers because a few are bad apples? Do we condemn all priests because a few were bad apples? I should think not. We should condemn all forms of guilt by association. Did Heidi Cruz do anything wrong at Goldman Sachs? Or is this guilt by association? This is wrong guilt by association. And I’m sure Donald Trump over the years has worked very closely with many top notch Wall Street securities and banking firms needed to obtain financing for his projects. If we are going to go down this guilt by association crap, why not begin there?

Maybe this will help: I am betting that most if not all of the more “fringe” campaign promises will not be fulfilled when any of the candidates get into office.

For good or bad, the checks and balances process will (or should) prevent this from happening.

Yes, a president can issue executive orders but to a limit. The 4-4 Supreme Court does add complexity to the mix.

So the question might be: how might each candidate (as president) work the system? Will he or she fight it with a vengeance or try to work with his or her fellow cohorts or somewhere in between.

All fair criticism. But I have never voted for a liberal and don’t intend to do so now. Nothing, I repeat nothing is going to get me to vote for the fraud Trump.

Other than immigration, I don’t believe word coming out of Trump’s mouth. To me being pro-life is most important and Donald’s 11th conversion is not believable.

I am praying for Kasich and Cruz to drop out post super Tuesday. Then we can finally rid ourselves of Bill’s and Hillary’s yankee friend.

Vote for the only candidate, in both parties, who isn’t bought and paid for by the lobbyists and donors, Donald J. Trump.

I definitely am not a liberal. I’ve never voted for a known liberal in 40yrs. of voting. I’m just trying to use strategery in defeating Trump. I don’t trust him with my conservative principles. How is he going to remove 20 million Latinos from our population? The President proposes and Congress disposes. Nothing can be done without congress (unless it is by tyrannical executive orders!)

Just ask yourself...Do I want more of the same without a wall? More free college for aliens, Spanish in schools and many Syrian neighbors. If yes, Rubio is your man. Cruz and Trump promising about the same but I honestly see only one delivering. How after 15 years of reading how discussed people are if the lame Republican Party and you wonder why the big support for Trump is beyond me! If you’re where you say you are either stay home or vote Democrat. Sadly your where most of them are not able to think on your own.

This is not a true statement. Breitbart on Trump Second Amendment Get the facts not the partisan spin.

Trump is a lifetime member of the NRA and a concealed permit holder. He has spoken out since 2000 about the importance of the 2nd Amendment. He has spoken about the mischaracterization of the AR 15 as an assault weapon. Trump has dramatized the crutial role of citizens being armed in deterring crime and saving lives on referencing to the Paris slaughter on many occasions.

A "few" bad apples? Hell, it's been going on for years...I was working at EF Hutton when they pleaded guilty to 2000 felony counts of check kiting. They paid a fine...no one went to jail.

At least a dozen banks in Miami made suspect loans to foreign nationals for condominiums selling at $500-$600 per square foot. These foreigners were all from Visa Waiver program countries, and skirted the system by purchasing them in an LLC.

When the bubble burst, they fled back to their native soil, never to be held accountable for their actions.

I'm sure you're an honest person, and work with a lot of like minded people. Your industry is fundamentally different, due to the guarantees to your customers that's provided by the federal government: FDIC, SIPC, etc. That's why your industry should be held to higher standards.
