Christie Likely to Drop out (per CNN)
CNN

Christie is canceling his events in South Carolina. He won't be in the next debate because he finished 6th. Expecting him to exit.
He'd be a solid A.G.

It's time for Cruz to throw in the towel. Carson and Bush, also. God knows Christie needs to. Rubio won't even be able to win his own state, he is such damaged goods. Everyone needs to tell the Republicans in Congress, who gave Obama everything he wanted, funded Obamacare, funded Obamatrade, have not done a thing to seal the border, tell the Republicans that we have not forgotten that EVERYONE OF THEM lied in the campaign of 2014.
Everyone of them PROMISED, from Reince Priebus down: we will repeal Obamacare, we will seal the border, yadayada.
And every one of their promises were lies.
ONE candidate has not broken a campaign promise yet. Who are you going to go for: the PROVEN liars, or the one who makes a rock solid case that he WILL repeal Obamacare, send the Muslims/Syrians/Mexicans back, build a WALL, end "free trade"...Donald Trump. Stop wasting time and money on known corrupt lying Washington Cocktail Party Elite.

He’d serve his country well in that position.

I just heard CNN say he was taking a breather, but, no report on him dropping out. They made that very clear.

Cruz very likely will trade states in the south with Trump. He’s got a big evangelical support base.
Trump will close the deal on the east and west coasts.
We need all three (bush kasich rubio) to stay in the race to chop up the establishment vote and prevent one of them from breaking out. They could have done it tonight had they picked one and got behind that horse.

I’d be OK with Christie as AG. I think Cruz is off the short list.

Hmmmm. Going back to NJ but will reemerge as Trumpâs running mate. Not likely.
Remembering back to the 1980 campaign, Ronald Reagan did make a compromise (IMO) with the establishment by including the establishment guy as his VP choice.
While way to early to speculate, I will point out that the VP choice has little to do with electability of the President.

not gonna see two candidates from adjacent eastern states like NY and NJ no matter who they are. If the dems had an issue, Hill would declare she’s not a resident of NY.

But don’t tell anyone or you might “steal” his votes.

I am wondering what Christie possibly gained from popping bubble boy’s bubble. Would not surprise me at all if he gets an attorney general appointment from somewhere.

After what happened in Iowa CNN won’t announce anyone is dropping out unless the candidate gives them a letter that’s notarized and sent registered mail.
