A Muslim pilgrim was seen on camera giving water to a thirsty cat which stood at a stone seat licking the water from the man’s hands without any fear.
A YouTube film showed the man, who is performing Umrah (mini pilgrimage), cupped his hands and filled them with tap water before giving it to the cat.
'Ajel' newspaper said the film was shot at the Grand Mosque in the Western town of Makkah, the world’s largest mosque.
My dog is always cleaning himself, too. When he wants a kiss, I say, “ Not until you brush your teeth!â€
Our dog only cleaned certain parts of her anatomy with any reliably. :p
So do you brush his teeth? We never did, but a friend of mine had both doggy toothpaste and doggy mouthwash for her little guy. The mouthwash got used regularly; toothpaste, not so much.
The folks in Istanbul adore cats.

When I was teaching at Marmara University in Istanbul, the campus was overrun with cats. The kids would feed them just like American college students fed the campus dogs.
Lucky you having that experience in Istanbul.
I was surprised when I heard about the Istanbul cats.
