I am the only representative I trust to represent me.
I hear that, but America isn't an anarchy, it's a representative republic (or at least it's supposed to be).
All we can do is elect people to office based on what we know of their past records and their current stances on the issues - then hope that they won't stray too far off course, once in office.
Newt Gingrich had an excellent appearance on Sean Hannity last night.
Summary
Trump is veering off course.
Cruz is the USS Nowhere.
The Trump and Cruz fight is enabling Rubio.
My take is Trump is screwing up here but he still has our ears and our pulse. Don’t go all Ross Perot on us now Donald. You can recover. This race isn t over until it s over. Blue states have primaries too and Trump can have the upper hand there as a just left of center GOP candidate — so long as he doesn’t blow it big time.

I hope that Trump was listening to Newt last night, because Newt is 100% correct on all counts.
I thought today that I should go to Donald's Facebook page and plead with him to rein in the personal attacks and bombastic flare-ups. It's hurting him tremendously.
He needs to get back on message, and STAY on message, otherwise he's going to throw this thing straight to the establishment pick.
Agreed. Trump does best talking up America and tossing anvils at the establishment of political correctness.
Night after night, it seems like Donald Trump just keeps winning these free Republic caucus polls. It is pretty evident that Free Republic is Trump country.
The numbers certainly give the true picture of who most strong conservatives support in this race, but I've been told by a Cruz supporter or two, that they're staying away from the nightly caucus, and that's the only reason Trump dominates it.
They also tell me that Team Cruz didn't cheat in Iowa, and that he voted against TPA before he voted for it. Or something.
They have an excuse for everything. I think that after NH, they’re going to need a lot more excuses though.
There certainly won't be any joy in Mudville after New Hampshire. Ted's going to come in third on Tuesday night, and they're going to be moping around here like heartbroken kids.
They'll be positively suicidal when Ted loses South Carolina to Trump, and it'll be downhill from there. Ted just doesn't have the sort of widespread support to take the whole thing. Like Santorum and Huckabee before him, he got his one win of the race, and now he's done.
It's all over except for the crying, now.

I just posted on the Donation thread to Onyx that right now on coasttocoastam, they have Bev Harris, the vote fraud lady, on. Things sounding pretty bad.
That’s why they’re trying to make the most out of that Iowa win-making more out of it than it is frankly.
Gilmore is weak on the climate change/”glo-bull” warming/fairy dust issue, but otherwise pretty good.
