I was flibberjibbeted by Rubio’s showing. Maybe it’s because they use a lot of illegals in meatpacking plants. Maybe they don’t particularly care for Trump or Cruz.
But like a lot of us I was hoping the Beatle-booted, toupee’d cabana boy would be going home.
There was something screwy going on.
In any event, Thanks Iowa GOP!

There is A LOT of chatter in the political underworld about Rubio’s extra marital affairs?
They say that mitts Camp knew of it and it’s why they didn’t pick him for vp.

That WILL come out if he gets the nom if he isn’t vetted soon.

Anyone privy?

Well, I’m disappointed, but not severely. Iowa isn’t exactly known for picking winners in presidential races. Doesn’t change a thing about Trump’s dominance in the race.

Now, if Trump were to lose NH and SC, I’d be worried.

Well, I hope she can keep a civil tongue in her head from here on out.

Are you referring to the subdued results for Trump in last night’s caucus?

No I am talking about the outright lying that took place at the actual caucuses by Cruz operatives about Carson and Trump.

From my interactions with her on FR, it hasn’t been too bad, given that we promote different candidates. The only time I’ve seen her lose it was in her vanity post that led to her temporary ban. That was unuaual for her.

Even though I was dissapointed in Trump’s 2nd place finish last night, I was actually glad to see Cruz’s numbers go up in the FR caucus. Many Cruz people celebrated here last night, so one way they expressed themselves was by voting in the caucus. It’s been a disappointment to see his declining numbers here leading up to Iowa.

I'm sorry, but she's been one of the loudest, nastiest anti-Trumpers on FR for months now. It got so you couldn't click on a single Trump thread without finding her spitting nails and invective within the first ten posts.

It got really tiresome.

I was actually glad to see Cruz's numbers go up in the FR caucus.

I think that had less to do with the enthusiasm of Cruz supporters, and more to do with the disappointment of Trump supporters. A lot of us just shut it all off after the final totals came in.

It is back. It lives as much as a neocortex can survive without the rest of the brain.

I don't care who you are - that's funny as hell :-)

I am reposting the links table because I’ve found that one link (voting thread for 1/25) is incorrect, and I want a good table for the sake of what I’m doing from now on.

To save space, I plan on posting two tables daily, starting next time: the first table will serve for the latest 15 days, and the second table will link back to earlier tables for older links.

IOWA is always weird and because all three of us support Donald Trump, I know my statement won't be popular, but I took a degree of satisfaction in CRUZ's WIN for the sole reason that it smacked Iowa's longest serving, arrogant governor right across his face!

Recall that he told Iowa Republican voters to vote for anyone but Cruz?

LOLOLOLOL.

I'm with ya on that.

On another note, Trump's speech in NH today had me rolling when he said something along the lines of "Can you imagine General Patton worrying if dropping bombs on the enemy fuel supply might hurt the carbon footprint?"

ALL DUE RESPECT.....

OK....I don’t know the pros and cons of ethanol....

....but don’t the good people of Iowa and the long running governor deserve to have their opinion on what works for their state?

Texans wouldn’t want to give up their oil....( & I have family of pioneer stock in Texas)

I don’t understand why Cruz ( and you) think ethanol is the bad guy??????
